corriere says we have 20 mil left for transfers. not including if we sell anybody. so i say lugano and either vargas or perotti are our best options

I asked in the United forums, and they ALL value Nani at 30-35. They paid close to 20 million for him and he's one of the best wingers in the EPL right now. And he's not even for sale.

So I hope everyone drops the Nani talks now :p

I asked Magpies fans about Carroll and they ALL valued him at 50 mil, which means 'Pool made a killing last year :D

... but I agree Nani would not be put up for sale, at least not this summer. :)

Pastore and Sanchez leaving the league was the worst thing about this summer mercato. Serie A can't keep their young stars, it's just a feeding league now.

Hopefully, Fifa fair play will bring more parity between the top leagues.

I think that more Serie A teams will follow our example of building a modern, privately owned stadium, which will really help to improve the league. We also need a reserve league to develop youngsters.

If Barnetta coming i hope its more as a backup for the midfield rather than our starting LW, get him and sell of both Pepe and Martinez if possible, and aim for another winger.

it's not a fact, law or anything of the sort - just because one team may have grossly overpaid for a player, that's not restricted to winter transfers alone.
It's hard to replace players sold in mid season, that's one of the reasons why the prices are inflated.

I don't want to argue or run in circles with you

It's fine if no new ones came in, it just would've been nice to keep the ones we had.
well tbh ever since calciopoli, i care very little about the league as a whole, i used to cheer on teams like milan and roma in europe, especially against english sides, now i just don't care, they are enemies of Juve as far as im concerned and as long as Juve are ok, thats what matters to me now, the prestige of the league doesn't deserve to be any better, since they royally f*cked it up themselves whilst Juve paid the price. Thats my view on it anyways.

I am not fully disagreeing with the above but the same is also true for many transfers in the summer too - the terms of a deal are dictated by a number of circumstantial factors, pertinent to that deal in particular.

You can overpay in the summer and the winter, just like you can make a great deal in either window too - there is no law/fact that would enforce overpaying on every single transfer in the winter, as opposed to the summer, for the sake of it being a winter transfer.

All in all, what I am saying is that words like "fact" should be used a lot more carefully.

you don't have to really :)
