Vucinic+Aguero will make sense if we play 4-3-3. Vucinic can cover 2 position in the attacking trio and if we ever switch to 4-4-2 he can play both as a SS and CF.
If we do play 4-3-3 then Vucinic comes in the place of Iaquinta+Amauri+Toni and we will have 6 attacking players: Aguero, Vucinic, Quag, Matri, Del Piero, Krasic.

In this case though, I don't see where can Del Piero play and if we are forced to play 4-4-2 at some point, it will have to be Pepe who'll play LW.

That is if we do not sign Bastos, right?

What if one of Krasic or Bastos goes injured long term, then what? Or what if when both either one of them have a bad game and Conte looks to the bench to replace with another winger, and he sees " Pepe" . You think Pepe is going to do the job then? We need some winger who can at least do something from the bench and not just running. If we wanna be back on top, and going for a long term plan , Pepe isn't the answer. Pepe is just mediocrity. You dunt need to have world class players on the bench, but at least someone who can deliver when needed. If we get the chance to cash in this joke, we should do so. I hope those Zenit rumours are true.

And what if they don't get injured, what are the chances of a player picking up a long term injury?
If they don't get injured, you have a good player that wants to play as a backup for two others which play every match (assuming the results are ok).
I am not saying Pepe is worth what we paid for him, but for another good winger, we definately would have paid the same, maybe even more and he would have been unhappy if things don't work out.
In the situation we are in, we need to take some risks and f that means that we will have a less quality bench but a better starting 11, then I am all for it, of course, if Pepe is bought as a starter, I will be worried.
Although selling hmi with profit to Zenith, will not make me unhappy.

Maybe, after all he bought both Pepe and Motta so he could sell them for a better price. Maybe there are potential buyers. I really don't mind Pepe as a back up player but Motta is a disgrace.

We just signed pepe permantly so I don't think we have the intentions on selling him to Zenit. I think Bastos will definetly be coming to Turin this summer. But as someone pointed out at top I am kinda worried about how we are going to fit all of this players into one solid formation. Hypothetically, if we did sign Aguero and Vuncinic, where would Del piero go? We would have pepe and krasic on the wings and pierlo and melo as CMs? I dunno I just hope we will be able to use all of the signings to their full potentials and not be wasted in a stupid formation. YAA FEEELLL MEEE????

How do you figure this? We can't sell him if we don't own him. We have to own the player outright before we can look to sell or exchange him in a player trade. You can't do it on a loan.

He means that if we intend to sell Pepe, we have to buy him first, as you can't sell a player you don't own.
