I have no idea who's that Simic kid. Anyway, I just hope these kids will stay here until they turn 20 or 21. They're too young, we deserve to watch them here.
Juve or any other club should wait for Serbia to become a EU member. Like, forever.
On a serious note, I have no idea if guys are following some youth tournaments, but Partizan, for example, always had some great kids (Jovetic, Ljajic, Nastasic, Obradovic, etc)
I'll copy/paste their achievements.
Around four hundred talents age 10 to 18, classified by age categories, learn football algerbra on daily basis with care being taken on their growing-up and personality forming, as well as sporting spirit teaching. That all-expanding and expensive job needs right coordination and organisation. We are not developing just football players, but sportsmen and personalities, too. That requiers a lot of effort, will, patience, love, understanding..But, that a great investment for the future, as well.
Partizan is firmly behind conviction that this is the only right path and obligation towards sport of every big club.
Six selections of our academy have their own competition – U-17`s (youngsters born year 1992.), U-16`s (1993.), U-15`s (1994.) and U-`14`s (1995.) compete on Serbian FA level, while U-13`s and U-12`s compete on a Belgrade FA level. Four of the youngest categories (kids born between 1998. and 2001.) mainly train, play friendly games and various tournaments, but do not participate in official competitions.
Although it`s not a primary objective, Partizan FC Youth Academy sides have the greatest number of league titles and cup wins in the country, so far. This year too, out of four official youth leagues, our youth teams convincingly won in three of them.
For years now, we witness our best youth academy players moving directly to senior side or Partizan franchise FK Teleoptik.
In the last eight years, Partizan FC youth sides participated in 61 tournaments around Europe and achieved 16 top spots, 10 runner-up positions and 12 third place final standings.
Our club organised seven international U-17`s tournaments with participation of some of the top European clubs: Real Madrid (5 apps), Bajern, Panathanaikos, Roma, Olimpique Marseille, Porto, CSKA Moscow, Barcelona, Fiorentina, Olympiakos..
Our youngsters won this tournament on four and Real Madridn on three ocassions.
This year, come last week of August, we are hosting 8th international u-17`s tournament with participation of Real Madrid, Fiorentina and PAOK Thessaloniki..
We won another tournament few weeks ago, beating Juventus on pk's in semifinals or so, I think.
Zvezda had some problems lately, but now they have some talented kids. Their youth team won the league and it seems we'll have some very strong NT in couple of years.
Word is that Partizan will stop playing international tournament so they can hide/protect kids from clubs and agents.
