seriously though, Pirlo is indeed a quality player and he is actually a champion and not the Marotta-kind, only on paper . Obviously, however, rebuilding Juve would require at least 2-3 players of Pirlo's level, and I am not counting Inler in that number.

A player of Pirlo's quality, 6 years ago, would have cost you guys your entire summer transfer budget to acquire, if possible at all. Sure now he is no longer in his prime but his style of playing would not suffer as much from that and you get him for free, which would allow you to invest more elsewhere.

good prospect, indeed and relatively cheap too but Italian teams these days are destined to watch Real and the likes gather all the talent and wait to pounce on their rejects.
Maybe he could be your younger "Pirlo" when he leaves Real in a season or two after scraping the bench there ... until then, the original should do to get you back to CL.
