Is Bastos definitely coming?
Media doesn't look so optimistic about but, but I'd say yes. I think he will sign for us.

Signing the loan players, plus going for Inler, a RB, Bastos and a SS type is one hell of an expensive mercato.
Dunno, depends for who we opt. With Pirlo here we might easily skip on Aquilani. Not sure about Quag... But yes, either way it will require a lot of money.

Sadly chances are high that Melo will be sold. IMO that would rock and it would amazing to see that, I think it could bring the best results.

I personally think Conte could go with a 4-3-3. With him talking so highly about Marchisio and us signing both Inler and Pirlo, I think he will try a 3 man midfield and see what it could do for us.

im still not sold on that 433 with melo, pirlo and inler. who's going to connect the play? and melo and inler are not going to make runs into the box. then we have serious threats on both sides but just one guy going for headers for example.

Even if Melo was sold, the makings of a good midfield are there.

I still think more of Marchisio than a lot of people here and Sissoko might be useful on the right of a three, if he could regain some sort of form.

Sancez would have a free-ish role, probably, so would drop into a trequartista type position quite a lot of the time.

I agree that 4-3-3 really needs a midfielder to hit the box regularly and those players aren't likely to do that.

We dont have enough midfielders to play a 3 man midfield if we are going to sell one of Sissoko or Melo. If we sell anyone of them, we wouldnt have any quality cover for starting midfield 3. I am not sure how good is Gabriel Appelt, but we need to keep hold of Melo if we are going to play 4-3-3 at least to have enough cover for the postion.

I'm sure that Udine would want to do deal with us, thinking that we could offer some good youngstars (Giovinco, Ekdal, Sørensen etc).. And Inler might be willing to push Sanchez to us, seeing as he already is a done deal?.. At least according to some members.

my realistic dream team

buffon
licht-bonucci-chiello-de ceglie/ziegler (can't pick between them)
-----marchisio-inler------------------- (if melo is leaving otherwise melo on marchisio position)
krasic---------------vargas/elia/bastos (one of those three)
-------sanchez-quag/matri-------------(can't pick between them)
bench
gk(i don't care who), barza, sorensen, one of the two lb, pirlo, aqau, pepe, boniperti, alex, toni, and one the two strikers

if we can't get sanchez then go for pastore
then it would be the same bench
