My point exactly. Marchisio haters don't really have anything to support their "mis-guided" theories on how he has supposedly failed and this post proves it.

His supposed level of "greatness" that you claim is your own fabrication, Andy. I said he had great games but no where did I say he was at a level of "greatness".

As "bandiera", he's a massive failure. He doesn't leave it all on the pitch and lead by example, as Adriano said. As someone touted as the "new De Rossi" or a future world class player, he's also a massive failure. There are perhaps hundreds of players who can do a similar job as him in the midfield. As a water-carrier type player, he has been a success, so I'll give him that. But even then, he doesn't show that level of grit and determination as Tacchinardi, for instance.

So overall, there isn't anything special about Marchisio. Sorry, there isn't.
