Reading the last few pages, Valencia is really underrated around these parts. He might not have the skills of Nani and the flair of Robben but he is a fantastic winger and his comeback from injury is one of the main reasons United won the 19th. Nani is one of my top favourites but I prefer Valencia over him. This guy is a beast, he's quick and strong and tracks back, we've scored quite few goals from his tracking back and he always helps his fullbacks, and he's aint half bad going forward, 13 assists and 7 goals last season (debut season) and he raped the shit out of Ashley Cole this season.
People will judge him on the Barca game and say that he's shocking, which if you do judge him on that game is true, he had a shocker, a brain freeze moment everytime he had the ball he stops and turns around himself. But you have to remember that this is his first European final and two years ago he was fighting relegation with Wigan, the European stage is too big for him but hopefully he'll learn from this.
He's an outstanding out and out winger.

What's the point in getting Valencia if we have Krasic? Can Valencia play on the left too?
No. Valencia can only play at the right. He played as right back few times and looked decent.

I doubt that United will ever sell Valencia, he's great.

He had some great matches, no doubt about that. But even when the team was shining he was usually only decent and one of those who always showed ways of his inconsistency, even in that period.
I said he played great at times this season, and Andy calls bullshit and you agree with him yet reaffirm what I said by saying "he had some great matches". Which side of the fence are you on because you just completely contradicted yourself there.

I'm staying well clear of this nonsensical bandwagon.

I'd be happy to continue this debate just as soon as someone can pose an intelligent debate on him because in all honesty, I haven't seen one yet that either makes sense or is actually fair.
