Yes but he'll be on the bench for sure. I'll put a squad list up:
Keepers: Buffon,Marchetti,Youth Keeper
Defenders: Lichtsteiner,Bonucci,Chiellini,De Ceglie,Ziegler,Barzagli,(Another RB)
Midfielders: Marchisio,Inler,Pirlo,Pazzienza,(Another DM),Krasic,Pepe,(Two Wingers, could be Bastos not convinced)
Attackers: Quag,Matri,Del Piero,Toni, The Superstar

I find it hard to believe that you people are always complaining about the italian approuch and then the most of you would be amazed by a Inler - Pirlo - Melo midfield. Personally, I'd only accept such a midfield with three very skilled players upfront. Something like Krasic - Aguero - Hazard and we obviously won't get such a gifted players.
Just look at our 4-3-3 games this season. Even if we had Del Neri, we played with a similar midfield and how many balls did Matri receive in those games? Close to zero, I guess, he was always too far from the team (and he tracked back, it wasn't really his fault).
The lovely thing in a 4-3-3 is the close links between all the sectors on the pitch and you guys want three defensive minded players. Just imagine the hole we'll have between the midfield and the forward line. Disastrous.
I keep hearing amazing things about him by the Barca fans. They even say he'd be their first option when Guardiola leaves.
Anyway, at least wouldn't be Deschamps or Ancelotti.

If we drop Pepe, Motta, Quaq, Aquilani we could do that, but Marotta said that we are going to keep most of them.
Although we will lose a lot of money if we dont buy Quaq, during to his age and injury proneness, i would prefer the finisher and younger Matri to pair with the SS Aquero-like

I don't know why some people are so willing to part ways with Quagliarella he has been juventus most dangerous striker this season the mere fact that juventus season fell apart after his injury layoff demonstrates this, besides this is a team with the likes of iaquinta amuari and toni on their books surely these guys should be out of the door first especially iaquinta.
He also said you need a good squad of 22 players

Would a Bastos work in a 4-3-3. Assuming how compact that formation is, and our almost done deal situation with him, I don't see us spend close to 20m to put him on the bench. That either means he's coming in to play LB, or Conte isn't switching from the 442/424. Of course, more than the 433 id prefer playing a more open 4231. With Krasic, Sanchez and Bastos playing behind Matri.
We dont have the players to play 4-3-3 and this particular formation, without top class players has always failed in serie A.

Not sell our 2 DMs (Melo and sissoko) and field a 4-2-3-1
The only alternative solution is 3-5-2/5-3-2 or 4-5-1 (but that wouldnt make sense with the amount of forwards we have)
If we consider Ziegler and Lichtsteiner 5-3-2 wingbacks, it all makes sense.

I would like that too, but if we buy the contracts of quaq (15?) and Matri(20?), we wont be able to buy Aguero(35-45mil).
And i doubt we can afford to keep on the bench one of quaq, Matri and Aguero, in a season, we would have nothing but serie A to play in.
So its likely to honor our contract with Toni (no one would buy him and we lose money if we release him) and keep him on bench with DP, probably Iaq too, if we fail to sell him again.
