Aguero is too wide in this formation, he needs to play closer to the prima punta. Marchisio-Pirlo-Inler is too fragile, we need at least a destroyer in there.

I know I will get slaughtered for saying this but I wouldn't even mind seeing Sissoko in a 4-3-3 alongside Pirlo and Inler. The guy was very good when he was used properly(by Ranieri) and in a 4-3-3, I think he would work well.

For a 4-3-3, Sanchez would be perfect.

Why the insistence on starting Marchisio? He hasn't done shit since scoring against Inter. If we want to step up in quality, Marchisio must be benched.

We are most likely getting Inler. Marchisio and Inler are similar players but Inler is better at everything the former does, therefore Inler should start over Marchisio. If we use a 4-3-3(which is the most logical outcome), we need some kind of DM/destroyer(Melo/Sissoko/Lass Diarra).

Marchisio should start the season on the bench and if he is really as awesome as some people here think he is, then he will regain his place sooner than later. Unfortunately, I think that he isn't.

especially this guy, as much as I want Aguero here, 25 million or so on Hazard would be a much wiser investment.

I don't know why many of you see Melo as as defensive midfielder, he is literally too dumb to be one. He may be strong, but that's all. His positioning is a joke, and no one knows when he is gonna lose a ball because of holding it for too long or even kick someone in the face. I love Melo, but if he stays (which I don't believe) and you want a Melo - Pirlo - Inler midfield, Inler should do the defensive work and Melo should play more as a box-to-box player.
