And the middle 3 without a DM?
Do you know what such a switch implies?
3 world class defenders are needed (CB better then 20 mil Bonucci, able to handle the DM-less pressure and 2 world class wingbacks able to defend and support the midfield, not Ziegler class tough, but the ones costing 15-20 mil each)
so roughly 60mil+45Aguero+15Inler and another 20-25 mil midfielder (pastore/hazard/Basots like) => 150 mil we dont have.

We cannot afford to rebuild our team every season and turn a 4-4-2 to a Diego based formation, then back to 4-4-2 and the back to 4-3-3, it aint happening, not even the old Inter could do that...

It depends when you start, Inter and Milan need less, Roma need about the same, lesser teams need more...
and no ones says that we will win serie A, even after the 150 mil investment, only that we will be remotely competitive, with half measures, even if we spend 100mil (only the midfielders and attackers without the defenders), we may end up being worse than we were this year, if we try the 4-3-3 switch.
