I really have no idea. He will probably start over Marchisio, at least initially in a 442 unless we sell Melo. I think that will be the starting duo in the middle, and all 3 would play in a 433.

I am only making these formations based off of what we currently have and what we could get.

For the attack we have DP Toni and quaq for sure and we will end up paying a fortune for Matri when we will fail to seal Aquero (unless we sell Amauri for a decent sum)

The midfield will be more or less downgraded with Pirlo+pazienza taking over Aquilani and Sissoko or Melo.
We will discard Martinez or Pepe and take a Bastos/drenthe as our primary acquisition.

And in defense?? Our tragic defense??
Lets assume our CBs will remain the same and we will add one starter, i guess that would be the RB, since we already have DC and Ziegler for depth and Chie for the hard matches.
I would really like to keep Sorensen and offload Grygera for a new starter experienced RB, Motta has failed.

So the 2 stars Marotta has promised will be a RB and LM, we have a good idea about the LM and their potential cost, but what about the RB?

It's not hard to work out that bosman transfers are completed early and a lot quicker than when there are negotiations between clubs.
