i just wanted to be sure it wasn't due to the fact we didn't even submit a bid. 3 mln seems like chump change to me for a player of his calibre in an inflated market...hell he'd be cheap if we bought paid that price in 90's nominal currency!

i just thought maybe had we offered more cash...feyenoord or whomever he was playing with would have provided us priority to discuss terms.

Afellay is a possibility but I suspect it will be Barca loaning him out to us perhaps without the option to buy. If I was Afellay, I would be tempted to accept a loan move with the Euros coming up because he may struggle to get playing time at Barca after the arrival of Sanchez & Fabregas. Given that he is coming back after an injury I think it would be a win win for both sides if he was allowed to leave on loan. Afellay himself may not want to be sold to Juve but would like a chance to prove himself before returning to Barca.

I think that could be a good scenario. At the same time, I don't see Malouda happening.

Haha we're paying money to get rid of Grygera!? Hahahah it's just epic. I've made fun of that in the past, and now it becomes real!?
Hhahaha it's just too good to be true. Grygera is so shitty, that we must pay a club to take him? Hahhahahah..

That is the ultimate diss from Conte and Marotta, hhahah!!

agreed, could be a very likely outcome although I don't see afellay ever breaking into barca's first team.

unless there's a serious long-term injury

I'd rather play Pasquato than buy Elia.

I'd rather play Pasquato than Giacherrini or Estegaribbia. Elia on the other hand would be perfect to help increase competition for the wing role...

you seem to forget this is juventus. no one should be guaranteed a starting spot...competition for starting spots create hunger and more determined individual performances...something nouveau juve fans may never have experienced...

elia has no future while the coach believes in gia and este

lets see how that goes

we stil got a non eu spot left, so we can correct in januari this time if neccecary
no future? thats a bold statement.

look i would love to have pasquato as our starter, ever since I watched him in citifield score the goal against club america...but face it kids, we need depth and competition...can someone remind the people with goldfish memory spans how many injuries we've had over the past two years?
