In his time in Germany, he was great, but since he moved,I haven't seen him play anymore.
But I thought he was more the Modric kind of playmaker then he is a winger, I can be wrong of course.

It's wonderful and he's wonderful if you hold humanity to such a low standard.
What? Why? I'm not holding humanity to a low standard, Aguero did nothing wrong, thats what any rational person would have done, I'd done the same thing and you'd had done the same. There's absolutely nothing morally wrong to what he did, let's take off the Juve colored glasses. He did the best for himself, which is currently realistically Man City, even if the money were same.

Michel Bastos :"This is what happened, Juventus made two official offers for me, but OL didn't accept their bids. That was it," Bastos was quoted as saying by France Football.

"I needed clarity for myself though. I needed to know where I would play in the new season. I had enough of all the waiting and made my decision. I am staying at Lyon."

Choosing them over us b/c of CL football? Sure, makes sense. Using us to get there? Not cool. We deserve a bit more respect than that. Juve is Juve, we'll be in CL soon enough so at the end of the day he picked a team that's already in the competition (which is fine) and where he could become one of the richest footballers in the world. The latter makes him a mercenary because he didn't join Real, Barca, Man U, Milan, or even Liverpool. He picked Man-freaking-Shitty.

Bottom line: CL was a necessity, a prerequisite you will, but the money was the real draw.

VERY strong rumor about Carlos Eduardo from Rubin Kazan for EU18m. Key question here....given that he is Brazilian and unlikely to have an EU passport......I guess that would rule out Alex from Chelsea? Vidal would have been our 1st non-EU player.....so, its either Eduardo or Alex no?

So he chose more money? So what? he's still playing for one of the best clubs in the world, it's not like he went to Anzhi. Man City is on the big stage now, thats a fact. how they got there is another thing.

So what? It's a sad reflection on what is happening to football and the mentality of football players. Aguero alone is not to blame for this.

What big stage? They've won the FA Cup. What else have they won?

It's one thing to be objective and be above everyone because "I don't wear juve goggles" but don't flip the script entirely.

I know, I don't even care about this whole Aguero thing. It's sad that we couldn't get him but reality is we aren't in a position to acquire such players.

But I'm not excusing or willing to rationalize the mentality of the modern football player that is willing to bear any jersey for the 'right' money.

They havent won anything yet but are in a great position to compete for everything.
