You buy Pepe, Martinez..... And you finish 7th twice in a row.
and please we have the money, insted of buying Pepe, Martinez for example you could buy a 25mil winger.
But we always chose quantity over quality.
So no Agüero or any other great players, just expensive ones like Diego or Amauri, don't move the goalposts.

And if you don't have the money?
Problem is we have the money!!!

Weve spent 35 mill on Vucinic,Vidal and Lichsteiner..and 36+ mill on Pepe,Quaq,Matri and Motta

Add in their salaries and those of Pirlo,Ziegler and Pazienza and weve thrown away enough to sign Aguero and 2 other good players

Money is not an excuse in this case

Its the same ol quantity over quality conundrum

Aguero went to a team with no history and went there for the money :money: :money: :money:. Man City are a good quality 2nd division team who should be pushing for promotion most seasons, because all they have is a very rich owner. If their owner leaves and City become mediocre again how many of their current players will stay - none. Juventus have so many legends zidane, nedved, zoff etc Man City's legends are the players who kept them in the top division most seasons.

Before the game tonight, most people here agreed that Marotta was right passing on Aguero, considering his price+salery.

Now, suddenly Marotta should have paid the money even when the club couldn't afford it.

What a joke.

Then you don't waste what you have on Pepe, Bonucci and Martinez.
Why not include the successful transfers? Whether you spend €10m-€15m on players or €25m on them they can be successes or duds, and we still aren't competing for players like Agüero with astronomical salaries and huge transfer fees who can play for any team in the world.

People really need to get over the Agüero pipe dream.

But it wasn't a case of Juve choosing not to sign him; they simply couldn't afford him.
