We should keep Melo and buy Lichtsteiner(swap some players like Amauri/Storari for the deal), Inler and Sanchez.

That midfield would be a hard to break down and with Pirlo, it would be creative enough. Sanchez and Krasic on the sides would be very fap worthy.

Proves how fucked up we are really, Dzeko, he can rot where he is. Rossi's gonna join Barcelona. Benzema confirmed he's gonna stay at R.madrid. The other three are possible - but we need to stop talking, and actually sign one of them quickly, and offer serious bids, so everything can finish quickly, instead of this annoying carry-on, different player everyday, etc nonsense.

Please, someone enlighten/ban me. How is Pastore a "big-name" player? He's 21 and really hasn't made that much of an impact. It's not like he carried this Palermo to great heights or anything like Sanchez did at Udinese. He's one for the future, yes, but you won't get that immediate impact you think you're going to get. If you wanna blow your load all at once and put all your cards on the table for this guy, I think you'll be disappointed come next year.

If we are going to raid the Udinese midfield, i'd rather have Asamoah. I really rate Sanchez but 30m+ is far too much for him unless we throw in a couple of our dead beat players.

I'm really starting to think that is the best we can wish for, except that Melo might be sold. Aguero doesn't want to join, Tevez won't come to a side out of the CL, Neymar won't leave Brazil just yet, and Pastore might not fit into Conte's plans.

Actually, considering how Conte likes a lot of movement around the box from wide players, I'm 95% sure Sanchez is our number one target.
