Higuain stats for the last 3 seasons in the league.

10/11: 17 games 10 goals 6 assists.
09/10: 32 games 27 goals 7 assists.
08/09: 34 games 22 goals 11 assists.

Total: 83 games 59 goals 24 assists.

That's a goal ratio of 0.71 goals a match.

It's not even that, Higuain is a world class player, you can't say that of any of our forwards.

What's the point of signing Higuain if we don't have proper players who can get him the ball? We should be focusing on getting someone of quality for the left flank or to play in front of Pirlo, guys like Hazard, Pastore or Sanchez. I don't want to be stuck with a straight 4-4-2 with Bastos out left and Krasic being the only main attacking threat again.

Agree. We need a world class creative midfielder. One of Sanchez/Pastore/Hazard. But Bjerkens, do you actually think we'll sign Aguero, i.e. spend 45million on single player?

Guillerme Ballague: If Juve make 40 mln offer to Atletico, they would accept and sell Aguero to them. Only problem is that Aguero doesn't want to join Juventus.
Not that this isn't true but just be aware Ballague like to cater for the EPL fans.

I didn't literally mean Matri is better than Higuain. Fact of the matter is that Matri is going to be bought no matter what. What are we going to do with Matri AND Higuain?
OK.

Do the logical thing, buy the better player out of the two, which in this case is Higuain, by far. And invest in a world class AM/LM i.e. a Pastore/Hazard type player.

We have met his agent twice in a week, couldn't he tell us that his client doesn't want to join us before we made an official bid?

Anyway I hope this saga ends as soon as possible.
