Cáceres can play along the defense, and has been doing well at LB for Uruguay.
I think that he has been doing the same as he did for Juve, with the difference being that he didn't have offensive duties and A. Perreira controlled the wing. It was the excellent organization that masked Caceres' awful positioning sense. Even with the great organization of the team, Caceres still made lots of his famous "1 second too late" tackles. Tonight he made one and got a yellow for that. His aggressiveness made him look good and he was indeed useful to Uruguay, but in this Juve he will be exactly the same as he was in 2009/10 and there will be noone to cover for his late tackles.
He could still do better than what we currently have at LB, though.
