Marotta won't engage in a bidding war and if Madrid raised their bid on Agüero he will duck and look elsewhere.
Madrid can go and pay the 45 Million with a click of their fingers you're right, however I don't think they will do because they then have to pay 30 odd million in taxes also.

I think if Madrid were in for him Marotta would be chasing other players.

We should make a bid for Aguero similar to that of Barca for Sanchez. I read they've offered 27m + 13m "in performance-related-bonuses".
The performance bonuses is more likely to happen with a team like the current barca than a team like the current Juve. Even though I agree it is a smart way if making an offer, we are not in a position to make it look attractive.

There are many performance related bonuses. Some have to do with trophies and some with appearances and scored goals.
