Del Piero sei un Mito! :delpiero:

Wow. What a striker he is.
Is there any chance we can get him on loan? Or do you think City will demand a payment?

Dzeko and Destro for the future! :)

With Astori off to Milan, we should just go for experience and sign Nesta/Samuel. (for free) I like Nesta more, but Samuel is a couple years younger.

Dzeko (on loan/25M), Destro (5M), Giovinco (8M), Verratti (7M), recall Pazienza, Nesta/Samuel (free), recall Sorensen (free)
Total: 20-45M

Buffon
(Storari)
Lichtsteiner - Barzagli - Chiellini - De Ceglie
(Caceres) - (Bon/Sorensen) - (Nesta/Samuel) - (Chiellini)
Vidal - Pirlo - Marchisio
(Padoin) - (Verratti) - (Pazienza)
Giovinco - Dzeko - Vucinic
(Pepe) - (Matri/Destro) - (Giovinco)

Out: Quagliarella (10-12M), Krasic (10M), Melo (12M), Grosso (free), Del Piero (free)
Total: 32-34M
I'd go with

Buffon/Leali

Cacares/PDC - Chiellini/Bonucci - Barzagli/Ogbonna - Isla/Lichstiener

Pirlo/Verratti(Bouye)

Marchisio/Marrone - Vidal/Appelt

Rossi/Pepe - Matri/Immobile - Giovinco/Elia

Verratti = 5m
Leali = 5m
Immobile = Free(IF WE DIDNT GIVE AWAY 50% TO GENOA!!! -.-)
Rossi = 15m(As his value would go down as hes set to leave Villareal)
Giovinco = Depends
Ogbonna = 7m
Isla = 20m

He isn't bad but we need top quality, enough with average players. I can't help but think that he'd be Martinez 2.0
Gomez is really proven for a club like Juventus, if anything this can turnout to be another Martinez move and we all know how that turned out. At the end of the day, your right to a certain extent. In my opinion, I'd still rather have Giovinco, but thats just me.

Realistically, a player I'd like is Valencia. My dream for Pepe's spot would be Nani but that won't happen. However, Valencia is a very good winger and I think that he'd be a significant upgrade over Pepe, at least if we can get him for less than 20 million euros.

    :yuck: :inter: Biased much? How many more Italians would you like to fit in there?

    Rossi as a marquee signing?

    Matri and Immobile for the starting striker role?

    I fail to see how that lineup is significantly better than what we currently have, if at all.

    With CL, Coppa, and Serie A next year, we should at least try to upgrade the squad, not maintain the status quo and fade into oblivion.

    offcourse they will demand a payment, and other teams will put in offers

    we cant match the salary
    He initially wanted to play for Juve. He only came to us due to CL and money.

    But he hasn't been happy here because he needs to play every game, can't cope with rotation. And our system doesn't suit him.

    Even so, he has 18 goals so far, that is a bad year for Dzeko.

    Lazar Markovic.
    I doubt Marotta ever hear of him. In any case, regardless of age, if a player has the talent and the ability, he should be given a chance.

    Conte said he wants one proven WC player, and a youngster with massive potential.

    Suarez and Markovic fit those categories; the former is WC, and the latter is a promising talent with huge potential.

    You think he'll leave City in the summer?

    Come to Juve baby. :)

    Marotta and Conte will not sign Markovic, I can bet my life on it. If the youngster with potential is specifically a forward we'll probably see Destro or Giabbiadini. If its any sort of player, it'll probably be Verratti. However, I want both. I think Destro has the ability to be better than Matri (give him a couple years), now that we gave way 50% of Immobile I can't see that kid ever returning. But if I had to choose, I would definitely choose Verratti - that's Italy's next big star.

    Dzeko, Destro, Giovinco, Verratti, and a defender (Samuel?) and I'll be one happy camper.

    Service isn't our problem, I think we need a more clinical striker than Matri rather than a replacement for Pepe. Giovinco, Dzeko and Vucinic would be ideal however. But, just by adding Dzeko to our frontline - we'd do so much better in front of the net.

    I still think we need a RWF with more flair and creativity, someone with that added spark that can unlock games for us. Dzeko is a clinical finisher, and a a very good striker, but an Ibrahimovic he is not.

    Love Llorente, I guess 25m+ if Real or the sheiks are interested
    I know that Llorente is the new hype around these days but looking at his stats, it doesn't strike me as something incredibly impressive.

    78 goals in 227 games for athletic, for a striker playing in the non existing defense spanish la liga is good but not great IMO. Plus he's already 27 year old (right now he's living his best days) and for the price that athletic will likely ask for him (around 25-30 mil) that's pretty risky. I like he's presence around the box and he's sheer size but still when it come to strikers i like to look at stats more than anything else (specially if they're coming from La Liga).

    Matri had scored 19 goals in 38 games that's a ratio of .5 (a goal in every 2 games) yet guys around here think he's inconsistent. Llorente's rate in La Liga is .34 goals, imagine how he will cope in a "much" harder defensive Serie A.

    If you make a respectable offer, I believe he would force the transfer. He hates being rotated, and it's clear that Juventus was a childhood dream of his. Mancini isn't even starting him any more, he is a backup striker now.

    Going into this season, I thought you would come up short due to lack of firepower. Either Tevez or Dzeko would help you immensely.
