That would sound bad, however I was in favour in signing Matri, meh about Barzagli, and facepalmed hard when we signed Toni.

However, this time around when we don't have an injury crisis in our attacking line why do we need Boriello?

We signed Toni and Matri because we needed strikers, but we don't need a striker this time around so if we're to sign Boriello it'll show Marotta's true colours and he doesn't know what he's doing.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt though and say these are wild rumours. I'm still hoping he'll trade Motta for Guarin, that would be a solid deal. Or bring in Montolivo for cheap, and bring us Caceres. AND get rid of some the deadweight. (Amauri, Iaq, etc)
Not saying we need Borriello (we don't at the moment), just seems like he fits the "average Italian" criteria on here and perhaps he's not as bad as some make out. He would be a useful player if the club wasn't healthy for forwards.

Trading Motta for Guarín? Haven't seen that rumour before.

 at Cronios when we are linked with shitty players. He then writes as they are a done deal and bash our fraudulent management.

Marotta said no big signings in January, so I think we will sign Boriello if Amauri and Iaq are sold.

Boriello in; Amauri, Iaquinta out--- Makes no sense!!! Not that I want any of those close to the first team ever, but if we needed this kind of striker - we have options atm.

It would be a good start to exchange Iaquinta and Montolivo. Actually, even better - it would be the right start. If we are ever going to get another forward it should be of at least Damiano quality - so he can be equal or bench Matri in the long run.

PP: Reading this from the porto president, Guarin would be expensive

The Uruguay international was heavily linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge last summer but Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas may well now have to search for an alternative, after the Europa League holder's chief Jorge Pinto da Costa ruled out a sale.

"I have guaranteed to the coach that none of the players he considered to be part of the team's core would leave,” Pinto da Costa told Mais Futebol.

“If Alvaro Pereira was to leave, for example, he would have left already.

"They say, for example, that Juventus are preparing an offer of €4 million for Guarin. For €4m, Juventus would not even take one of your youth squad players."

People still mad we signed Italian players. We are an Italian team. Is an average Italian worse than an average Mexican?

The more I think about it, maybe its better to get rid of Toni, Amauri and Iaquinta and bring in someone like Boriello. Afterall, if we sell those three players we'll only have Matri, Quagliarella, DP and Vucinic. Vucinic is injured, and what happens if someone else gets injured as well. It would have been nice if we still had Immobile rather than wasting our time and resources in acquiring someone like Boriello.

Maybe we are signing Borriello for next year when we are in CL?

Trying to get him before someone else does.

Next year we would MOST LIKELY have: Vucinic, Quag, Matri as our strikers...

Krasic's agent on the Inter rumour: "If it were true there cannot be anything but pleasure. When will we talk about it, however, Inter. We're looking around, not only in Italy but also in Europe. There are top teams who are following in England than in Spain and Germany.''

TuttoJuve says PSG wants him too.

He's gone. :snoop:
