If we are going to perferm well in next Champions League, preparing for summer transfer window Marrotta has to keep in his mind Inter's example before their successful season. There were three vital TOP players had been signed in three lines. Lusio for defend line, Sneider in midfield, and Etoo in attack. All other purchases (even Milito) were like an additions to end building complex and equilibrium squad. All we need is to buy Three key star players in each line. The most important is a new forward, because Vucinic is not considered as a world-class performer. In midfield we have only 4 players wich is not really enough for 4 3 3 formation. Yes Pirlo is genious, but he is too old and disposed to injuries. And at last we need really good centre beck, not such persons like Alex, who maybe forgot the moment when he had played last time.

I somewhat agree, we need to start looking at top notch / top talent additions for all 3 lines, but I'd get a defender first and foremost. We have Matri and Quag to play up top, with plenty of wingers to pick from to complete the top '3'. We're screwed as soon as one of our defenders picks up an injury, hell, we're already screwed having Bonucci on the pitch.
