Do we still own Ekdal? How's he been going?
Think Cagliari owns 50 percent. He's struggling badly trying to get into that midfield. Biondini, Cossu, Conti and Nainggolan is a really good midfield and has worked together for a very long time. I don't see him reaching a starting spot unless someone brakes down. I think he's good enough but he doesn't have the league status and his competitors are so well attached.

For england and at times for city he does look like a threat going forward, can he really be worse than krasic? how realistic is it of us getting a big name right winger in January or even in the summer? next to none.
If we qualify for CL then we have a good shot at getting a high profile winger in the summer. If Conte asked me (still waiting for that phone call) I wouldn't do anything to the winger situation in the club until summer. We have enough quality to finish 2nd with this set of wingers and the formation flexibility Conte has shown. If we wait until summer we might even get Krasic up and running again, which means we have a much better winger than if we trade him for Johnson.

I know I'm beating the dead horse here, but please lets splash the cash on Tremoulinas or Chissokho in January. If we really want to break the bank lets try Jo-Jo too, because I feel that he is going to have a massive season and will double his cost come summer.

tremoulinas is overhyped, as for cissokho i cant see lyon selling him in January unless they have a back up plan to replace him which i doubt. Ansaldi still remains the most viable, realistic and best option for us, as previously stated he can play at rb which also solves any issues with licht when he's unavailable.
