The market pool is what brings the most of the money and in this regard it's better if there are fewer Italian teams.

For example, the market poll for Italy is 2010/2011 was around 52 million euro. That is divided to the number of teams from Italy that play in the CL. Next year, if three Italian teams play in CL then the serie A winner gets 41% of the market poll money Italy gets, the 2nd placed gets 33% and the third placed will get 26% of the money.
But if there are only two clubs from Italy that play in CL, then they share the whole cake between themselves so Juve will get around 60% of the money.

In other words, Juve will get ~21.5 million eur from the market poll if Udinese/Lazio/Napoli/Inter make the CL, but we will get +30m eur if they don't make the CL.

I like this Fellas guy (or girl): ^
haha im a guy. Sounds like a realstic mercato. And I would accept it, it's hard to get Cavani as Napoli would want 40 million euros atleast. With clubs like PSG, why would they sell to us?. Our chance is maby to offer around 30 million + Giovinco or something.

Giovinco is good, maby not a Robben but still a big upgrade for us. People where crazy for Dzeko but now when he is in bad form everbody has forgetten him. Im sure that he could be a hit for us, and regain his confidence and form here.

No one can say that Matri or Quagliarella is close to Dzekos potensial. Of course I would take Van Persie or Cavani before. And IF Marotta pulls a transfer like that , I would be both glad and suprised.

Chelsea and Man Utd receiving so much is down to the EPL teams bringing in a lot of viewers, correct?

I'd feel a lot more confident in Udinese not making it, especially if Di Natale retires.

There's figures on how we did last time we made the CL.

i heard somewhere that the new french government intends to impose heavy taxes on high earners namely footballer by as much as 75% basically psg would have to pay a player 400k a week in order for the player to gain 100k net meaning that psg to say the least may not seem like such an attractive option, especially with the financial fair play soon to come to force

Im not too sure about abot Cavani comming. IMO Lavezzi is going to Inter or PSG, and would Napoli sell 2 of the 3 tenors? I think not. Napoli needs to miss CL and convince Lavezzi to stat before they will consider letting Cavani go. If Lavezzi leaves, we will have to wait one year to get Cavani. Worth the wait IMO though, if it will turn out to be the case. If no Cavani this season, lets splash All mercato on youngsters and 1 ss/rw star like Sanchez/Jovetic/Suarez/Gotze/

Lavezzi leaves, they get Ramirez or Giovinco maybe.. If not, they could recall the starlet they have playing for Pescara right now.. Lavezzi is sure to be sold IMO.. About Cavani, they would have to sell him to if he pushed them, and if he was to join us, we would probably use Matri+cash to convince them.

Yup, England brings by far the most viewers.

It's surprising that Italy traditionally brings more viewers than the more populated Germany. I can't say I mind though.

So from the Sky Italia Madvillian posted, we have interest on Ben Arfa? What do you guys think? I always thought of him as the more talented of the 86-87 generation of France. Better than Karim or Nasri.

Haven't watched much of him...but that's saying a lot.
BTW didn't he get busted open by that De Jong guy? How's that injury going? Fully healed?

I know a guy who trained with Newcastle last winter, and he told me that Ben Arfa is like the most arrogant cunt you'll ever meet. Incredibly talented but follows his own rules, apparently.

Yeah, but like Aush said, when they were at Lyon I always thought Ben Arfa was better than Benz. Since then however, Karim develop into a world class player. Ben Arfa is still a "what if" thou. Kind of like Anelka & Henry.

Yeah, that's always been his problem. Talented, but act like an ass.
