Am I the only one thinking we absolutely need to upgrade our LB/LWB (we need a starter on par with Lichtsteiner/Caceres)?

De Ceglie's okay to good, no more. Not to mention he's quite injury-prone.

i doubt we are signing any lb.

we will likely sign esti to play as a LWB in a 3-5-2. for that matter it's more than likely we are signing a Cb or two because we are going to see that formation on a regular basis. i expect Nesta and Sorensen tbh

Thanks for the info. Another Conte selection must be, but we can't let our guards down and expect the coming season will be the same especially with the CL. We going have lots of players playing in Euro's as well. Players are going to need rest and therefore we need to have enough depth. A well preparation is essential and you did pointed we have Bertelli to help us with that, but a freak accident can happen and we need to prepare for good cover for that as well. I don't think the current squad has enough quality cover to challenge all 3 fronts.

Kolarov doesn't inspire me a lot to say it really , he doesn't look that good in defense in my opinion . Plus what are his wages at city ?

Well, obviously we can't compare with City when it comes to wages, but who can? I read somewhere that he gets what would be around €3 mio in Italy in City. He obviously has to have a huge paycut before this is an option, but I guess there is a small possibility.
You are right about the fact that he isn't too good defensively, but he's extremely good in the offensive game and in a 3-5-2 he would be perfect to have together with Licht on the other wingback! I don't think he would be bad in a 4-3-3 either.
