Higuain is tired from the vice-Benzema role, so he will be most probably gone.

Juventus and PSG are the most interested. There should be a meeting between his agents and Madrid to define everything. Perez seems to want 40 million.

One paper states we have €40 million to spend on a top player, the next day another paper says there is a top player available for €40 million

€40 mill is way too much for Higuain anyway

Certainly Juve are looking for a top player this summer. There are contacts with Van Persie. The candidates are Van Persie, Suarez, Tevez and Higuain. They would cost ~30 million. Also, Juve follow Damiao closely, but he's not the priority.

Higuain prefers EPL to Serie A, but if he went there that means another top player is free to leave: Dzeko.

At least we can use the fact that Pipita has a price set and is on the market to milk the Cavani deal. Now surely De Laurentis can't ask for more than 40m and with his Napoli we can include promising talents in the deal like Krasic, Padoin... etc. ;)

In: Suarez, Giovinco, Asamoah, Verratti, Ogbonha, Leali, Giaccherini, Caceres, Borriello/Destro.
Out: Grosso, Krasic, Elia, Matri/Quag.

Pretty good mercato for me :D

Padoin is harmless, €5m is nothing these days, he'll be quiet and sit on the bench for most of the season.
You are saying that now but think about all those things Marotta is doing to shave off 5m in a deal.He goes so far that it usually ends with us NOT getting the player.... :D
I agree that he is harmless, but unlike Giac I can't see him giving much options and truly fitting in this team. Perhaps we can use some youngsters for those small games or subs, because, while Padoin is versatile, he doesn't add much on any of those multiple positions imho. Yet, of course, in Conte we trust.
I think that players like Padoin might be the reason we would see nothing from our Awesome Buy, Appelt or even Marrone. :(

Bayern Munich have cooled rumours that Juventus target Arjen Robben could leave the Bundesliga giants in the summer.

The Dutchman has been paired with the Old Lady following their return to Champions League football for 2012-13.

“I can guarantee that no stars will leave,” Bayern chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told Bild. “Robben’s new contract is almost signed. He will stay here with us at Bayern for some time to come.”

It is understood that the former Real Madrid man will put pen to paper on a new deal at the Allianz Arena until June 2015.

The international’s current agreement expires in 2013.

:yuck: :inter: Lacking a clinical striker/poacher/goalscorer :disagree:
Matri is a good poacher, yet he still suffer in Conte's system due his lack of technique and first touch. From what i've seen, CF isn't the one who takes most of the shot in Conte's system, they make wall pass, drew defender out of position, and can be isolated with numbers if he have to work all by himself (like the game vs Cesena).CF like Cavani and Higuain are WC, but as good as they are, i think they still suffer again teams defence with numbers with the way we play now. My first choice for the attack is Suarez, he can play everywhere in the trident and is a game changer with his unpredictable style. Suarez, Quag is also very good goalscorer too.
