again, almost every player is replaceable, especially in this squad. but selling one of the best italian fullbacks sends the wrong message, you can't build a team for years to come like that. he's one of our best players currently and selling him mid season simply screams small club mentality

even 60m is pretty money for a fullback though, so there's that

there are 2 factors though:
- he is not worth that,
- we are in no position to refuse this kind of money,

Even though i would gladly get rid of him with good offer I also agree that it is too late to sell him in this window.

I do agree that we know the gaps that need to be filled or upgraded atm in the current squad, but next summer half of this current squad still needs to be sorted out too because many are here only as a dry loan or with obligation/option to buy, and it will require considerable resources to get just some of them done, which is my main point, let alone the unpredictable panic sells and buys we might witness depending on where we finish this season…
If we have not put the money aside for the obligations and options, there's something seriously wrong and we're pretty much screwed.

I read Kostic is probably returning. Arthur and Vlahovic will still be a problem. Those need to be cleaned up ASAP to have a completely new slate.

If we qualify for the CL, I'm pretty optimistic of being able to let the team evolve. If we don't, well... I'd rather not think about that scenario.

I don't think we have enough money to rebuild. Selling is a must at this point and it's not like we have many choices. It's Guintoli that scares me. Other clubs would easily strengthen their squad with 70mln at their disposal. I really like Cambiaso but such huge bid would be silly to reject despite our retards on board.

What i am most concerned about is to not find ourselves in an endless loop of costly dry loans just to be able to complete the squad each mercatto because of not having the necessary finances to get our main targets.

Agree, it's why CL qualification is an absolute must.

yeah, it might backfire us, thats why getting CL and a good sponsor is a must to keep sustainability of the club.
Club world cup will help us a lot too since, its like we would participate in another CL the same season (or even more money actually). This could jump our budget to almost 500m (we had of 356 m in 2024 thanks to no CL).

Doubt it, at least not in January. Giunto specifically said we won't be selling and he's already criticised so much...
Yeah but if lets say City offer 85M I doubt we are going to say no. City will find the price even if January price is higher than a June one.

Wonder who we'll get as a replacement.

Doubt such an offer will come after having received no bid whatsoever in January... But yeah, sure. He's gone then.

Pedulla says Todibo is the priority with Kelly and Kristensen as the backup plans.

DiMarzio says Todibo is injured and the deal isnt likely
Did di marzio just discover he is injured? Because he was injured before he started spreading his rumours. For like 2 weeks already lol
