I wouldn't read too much into Rangers fans missing him, if that is true. Their team is pretty poor at the moment . Although he was one of their best players when he was there. I think I mentioned him a couple of seasons ago as someone who could go for decent money.

I'd be surprised if he was at the level we should be looking at though, unless he has kicked on a lot at PSV.

But I can only imagine most of these guys never played the real football as kids, in the street, on courts or little patches of dirt and grass. It's all academy/college/pro league training, making for some great athletes, but they lack that spark.

9 goals last season and 2 so far this season. He’s done well at PSV. However, that’s a big step from Serie A.
