100%

Different atmosphere around this club entirely from a work ethic point of view. I think he realizes he fucked up, but is too rich now to admit it LOL

Unpopular opinion but if the only way to get Eriksen is as a freebie then we should move on. He's been moody and didn't live up to expectations in the last year and a half and he's bordering the end of prime years. On high wages that that wouldn't be worth it. But if we can get him now then fine, but it probably won't happen

He seems like a perfect player for Sarriball. He can dribble, pass, shoot, has good stamina.

It's close to Hustini long thread thing.
Here In football section? Haven't seen it. With all the nagging lately that'll be a fun thread. Some people use this place as an outlet to take out their daily frustrations. Need that thread to have some laughs and balance things out.

Completely agree, but it seems we are the only ones.

Eriksen scores more goals and had more assists in 2017/18 than Pogba did in his final season at Juventus. In fact, Eriksen in 2017/18 scored more non-penalty goals than Pogba has in any season.

This is despite the fact that:

    1. Pogba played as the third most advanced player in our 352 in 2015/16

    2. Juventus was the best team in Serie A, while Tottenham was not the best team in the EPL.

Anyway, Pogba and Eriksen are roughly on the same level.
    Different leagues..

I don’t quite understand our transfer strategy. Back in 2011, we put together a team to bring us back to the top-tier in Italy. Since then, we’ve been buying talents only to sell them later for extra cash. Now we have the likes of De Ligt, Demiral and Rabiot, which is a big deal, but the reality is different as we don’t seem to be able to build around them. We always seem in need of change/upgrade.

@Orgut makes a lot of excuses for Pogba stint at Manure

True world class players shine even when the players around them are average. Look at Totti or Gerrard, they delivered world class performances even when they were surrounded by mediocrity. They made their teammates better.
True False - There isnt a specific formula but there are players who shines everywhere and there are ones who need a certain environment.

E.Davids was flopping for Milan before he came here and became great so is he flopping at Milan means he isnt a world class player?!
Slogans are nice and all but in the real world there are more than just slogans..

Pogba has been immense for us while he crapped at Man Utd.
We all know what Pogba can do here so the reason is probably environment (P.S I wouldnt say he sucked for France although his Juventus spell beats it all..)
