Cuadrado is not a right back. Hes only there because hes the only player that offers any form of width down that side. Defensively he is as naiive as the others

I agree mostly, but overall Cuads has been wonderful. Forget the defense man, we need to fix the midfield.

We have 3 guys who can play RB. It shouldn't be a huge priority considering the players are serviceable. We played like crap yesterday despite having top notch offensive talent on the field. CR7, HIguain, Dybala, Costa...We had an attacking RB too in Cuadrado. But we still couldn't hold possession. That is a midfield problem. We need at least 1, if not two additions to the midfield. Matuidi doesn't cut it. Ramsey is an utter disappointment (always injured, seems to have the Khedira no legs syndrome), Bentancur is inexperienced.
It's as if we've forgotten how we sheltered our registas in the past.
There was a point when we used Pirlo where he was protected by Vidal at CAM, Marchisio at CM, and Pogba at CM lol.
If not, he had 3 CBs behind him, and Vidal/Marchisio.
Pjanic has Matuidi, Bentancur, 2 CBs and Dybala.
We've got to give Pjanic more talent to work with. That needs to be done ASAP. Pay the cash to get Pogba.

I agree. I think we need one top midfielder to start and have 3 of the 5 play. The rest can go.(Pjanic,Rabiot,Bentancur,TOP CM, Ramsey)Keep Matuidi for tactical purposes or bring in Peredes for Can.

If that happens I could see us going for one top mid and calling it a day in the market this summer. Sell some players that we dont need and maybe bring in some youth in spots.

you mean paredes? former roma and zenit player, now at psg. he's a backup at psg, was a rotation player for roma too. i never rated him too highly, but he's a good passer, so considering the coach we have, i'd take him over emre can as a slight upgrade.

Let's see... We had 3 natural wingers available yesterday, 4 if you include CR, yet we "on’t have the personnel to play with wingers".

Bernardeschi has become too fat and slow to play as winger.
Cuadrado is moved to RB out of necessity since we sold Cancelo.
Costa is always injured

What wingers do we have? Tell me, how are we going to play 433?
