According to Romano Cavani wanted to come and offered himself, we rejected because we already have that fat barrel ffs...
Good I'm glad, cavani a few years ago yeah. Now... nah just another khedira waiting to happen

I rate Bernardeschi as much as Neymar and Mbappe.. Lets swap for one or even both..
In all seriousness we should offload bernadeschi to Roma and get zaniolo in exchange, add tonali and suddenly our midfield is lit

Hold your horses. That fat barrell is doing great.

We don't need more old strikers, i'd have loved him here few years ago, but that ship has sailed imo.
Meh, he scored some goals first time and in situations where any better striker with good instincts would score. Other times he's just slow, doesn't move well, can't win any duels and roams around 16 yrd box instead of keeping CBs honest and occupied. He looks good because of how low expectations were of him coming into the season. He's done.

Cavani at least would be a better fit with CR and take away so much attention with his movement and leave space for CR and Dybala. He's also a better finisher, good with heading, a workhorse to help with pressing etc.

We're probably getting rid of fatso in the summer anyway and it's not like we're going to play with just Haaland and CR as strikers. You can never have enough goalscoring threats who are actually fit and hardworking.

He's not really old. He takes incredible care of his body, he's still fast, good movement. Just by his body type and work ethic he'll be able to score 15-20 goals per season at least for 3-4 more years.

This might be the saddest sentence I've read about Juve since
He is, he has 7 assists so far this season. It's like you wanna ignore reality? He is more technical, well rounded and supportive then Cavani who is more hard working but not technical that way. I cant imagine ever seeing Cavani do the kind of assist Higuain had to Ronaldo vs Udinese.

Yup, replace him with an older, more injury prone player
Genius
More injury prone how lol? Cavani had two identical injuries in last 6-10 months that kept him out for longer. Other than that he almost never sits out. Between 2013/14 and 17/18 he never missed a single game due to injury. And even then it was minor.

Also, you forgot better, fitter, more hard-working, better fit with CR and Dybala (doesn't need the ball as much, poacher), not a choker, stronger in the air, can hit important penalties...stop me when enough.

I didn't say it's not true. Just sad the state of other creators and the type of football when Higuain off two loans in one season and trying to kick him out all summer is the focal point.

We don't need a striker to pick the ball up at 40m from goal and play through balls. Assist was nice, but how many other situations where we have zero people in the box and 3 strikers 20m from goal in tight space fighting over the ball?

The so called fatso is the leading creator for our team right now. And is super reliable in overall performance whole season.
Yeah, can't really knock him right now. Plus it doesn't make sense to replace one 30+ player with another

That's why I dont get either Dru, I like Cavani, but what's the point of replacing a 32 year old striker of similar quality, with another? Especially when one is already here and found a way to fit in. Humbled himself enough to wanna retire here even as backup (if club let's him). Cavani is out of options when it comes to top clubs too, but will have it harder to adjust probably.

Diff is Cavani will be free and we'd be able to sell Higuain.

But all that is entirely dependent on if we'll still start three strikers next season and if we'll succeed in signing Haaland.
