He tore his ACL and meniscus and maybe his collateral too. In slow motion, he looked to have taken a knock to the side of the knee from De Ligt while it was planted.

Ouch..that is incredibly awful luck if all true. You see those sort of instances 100s of times per game and they rarely result in anything serious. Hope he makes a full recovery.

are you saying we need 6 CBs for a 4 man backline cause thats ridiculous. 5 is plenty and if we have so many injuries the issue is not 5 CBs the issue is the constant injuries

Worst thing about the demiral injury is we probably wont buy anyone this month and end up basically screwed no way can we rely on keeping de ligt and bonucci fit as well as relying on rugani it would be a huge error to do that. Chiellini is basically unknown right now we dont know if he will be the same plus we dont know if once he gets fit he can stay fit

What's ridiculous is that our only backup for the rest of the season is Rugani and that we only have 3 CBs.

So what you're saying is, the same Emre Can half the forum constantly bitches about, and Rugani the other half of the forum bitches about isn't an extreme stretch yet but having to use a FB is? That seems a bit bizare to me. 24 hours ago most people hated Rugani and Can and now Can is going to be the solution to finish the season?

God help us if we injure another CB. And if you haven't been paying attention the last 8 years out how "commonplace" on injury list is, you should have known better this summer when we sent Romero back to his club.

We have always had "eclectic" players that can fill multiple roles and yes we needed another CM b/c we know suspensions and injuries are "a thing" at this club. They don't need to be 8m salary players but experienced enough to fill the slots in an emergency. We all know our youth players can't do shit.

i know you love drama but for all the issues this club currently has a shortage of players, particularly CBs, is not at all one of them.
