Let's see, Bayern will probably announce it in January if true
I think Falk & Co. already knew it and after the MARCA stories (Barca being informed that Goretzka already had decided to go to Bayern) forced them to come out themselves..byebye exclusive story

- - - Updated - - -

Where he will he fit in Bayern Munich they have so much quality in midfield
My ideal:
Thiago, Goretzka, James
Martinez, Tolisso, Brandt

+ Rudy

I wouldnt mind Meyer as Thiago BU as a Bosman too.

Another Transfer I could see is Draxler as Ribery successor.

My personal wish : Bailey

Leaving to party soon. Happy New Year fecking Tuzzers :sheik:

Edit: My posters of the year: @Xperd aka The Cusp and my Minime @DAiDEViL
@Marc is Tuz and I like to discuss with @zizinho

Juve vs Bayern: 6-4 aggregate for Juve
Would be a special game :p

Happy New Year buddy! :D
Honestly? I could live with that..would be heartbroken again of course, but Juve and Bayern would both deserve it showing that good scouting and having a plan without splashing the hundreds is rewarded and man, I feel with u guys..I needed to wait ages too until Valencia 2001 started with losing to Porto 1987 Madjer..I broke my left food kicking a laundry box.

:hi: same with me. love German football (2nd favorite after italian), so always great to have someone who follows it closely to talk with.

btw, do you not like Vidal? you didnt include him into your ideal midfield above. dont get too wasted tonight :p

Vidal is a WC player, who needs a coach to show him the boundries..he should have come 2011.

He is replacable though and has just 1 year of contract left..economic decision. He still has a few years left in the tank..time to cash in.

Edit: Prob is, I always think I m still 30 and drinking like that meaning waking up wondering what the hell happened

typical German, thinking you can drink all night till youre 80, ive seen 100s such :p

i dont really care about Vidal, as long as he doesent come to another Serie A team (inter). he should stay in Munchen or go to EPL

It is considered better although god knows why..
Juventus Napoli Roma Inter Lazio are equal to City United Tottenham Chelsea Liverpool (more or less)

as for the 90s I think there wasnt even a contest as Milan of the first half of the 90s and Juve of the 2nd half were way bigger than the EPL IMO (and Im not even counting Inter who with Ronaldo and Vieri were very good)

IMO 90s - Serie A was the best
2000-2010 - EPL La Liga and even Bundesliga left Serie A behind with La Liga and yes EPL as well taking over
2010-2017 - EPL gone awol Bundesliga took a nap (put aside the Bayern all mighty year)
2018 - (I regard this year as 2018 as its 17-18 season) EPL sides seem to get back but Serie A are giving a push as well, Bayern remain a force while Dortmund went for a winter nap.. Real might not at their best right now nor are Atletico Madrid but it is clear that right now the strongest league is the La Liga as overall you cannot really argue that Barcelona Real Atletico > Juve Napoli Roma (overall)

Financially there is no discussion as EPL are probably the strongest overall
Man Utd havent been in europe for a decade yet they were able to shell 100M for Pogba and spend lots of money on other players
Man City have Shekih
Chelsea have an Russian Oligarch
even Liverpool shell 70M on players wondering where they get that money from..

While Spain have Real and Barca strong spending power they are only 2 in spain compared to the ridiculous power of the EPL where a player like Van Dijk gets bought for a record fee for a defender...
PSG are probably the strongest financially at the moment but they are a 1 team league so it cant be counted as much...

Juve and Bayern are the only great reasonable financially clubs.

I wonder who put that EPL is the best title.. Seems like an EPL fan brainwashed everyone...
We are talking about the same Bayern, despite spending around 100 m euros on market and despite spending a fortune on renewing their facilities, Bayern Campus e.t.c. still managed to make 60-65 m euros profit. And this is even without their new TV deals.

Actually they don't need to overpay. just because they don't sign players from EPL.

Vidal will be 31 next year and wants his last big contract. assuming Bayern won't hand it to him. since his current contract ends when he will be 32. Replacing him with Goretzka is a rational move.

I have a feeling Heynckes ll achieve something special again.

..I m not sober though
still giving away easy chances. And Ribery can be Bayern's cancer. he still plays as if he is in prime. Losing many balls and causing many counters.

The premier league is not better than serie A, unless you’re talking financially.
EPL is too overrated. but we need strong competition. with City, they became one team league again. with an strong İnter, Napoli, Roma, Lazio and Milan. l see big improvement in the coming years.

That's what Beppe is trying to achieve imho. That is why he named Schalke...

His contract runs out in 6 months. In that time they would have to PAY for the loan of Pjaca and get nothing for Goretzka at the end.

No one is going to give them 40-50M for a player with 6 months on his contract. Not without having a major detrimental effect on his personal terms.
    Oh cool ok.

He's going Bayernliga or Moneyliga though, too many negative variables for us.

Juan Mata's contract is up this Summer

Surely he would be worth a try to sign him
lol this is like one of those lunar once in a generation far space occurrences where the stars are lining up for Beppe. There are so many quality Bosman's now...
