Is he suspect defensively/ out of position too often?
He's not a natural in 1 v 1 scenarios. Too upright, weak timing on challenges. I don't think he's out of position that often but I don't think he has natural instincts to save goals. He won't go full retard and keep strikers onside or something like that. But I don't know if he's switched on enough to cover CBs every time.

He's also hyper aggressive in offensive transition. He leaves the back line immediately, maybe too aggressive if you are in a 4 man defence.

I think his height allows him to play wingback because the coach is comfortable with him defending the back post if he ever has to.

and you want to know why? If you keep your best players for a few years they'll gel better together and your team will be better. If you replace each $#@!ing year a starter for a starter it's like starting all over again...
Absolutely. Sandro has a long-term contract and we should even force him to stay.
