I just read on FI that Kovacic has made only three league appearances this season coming off the bench... Wonder if he's available for a transfer. I have a feeling he'd be interested in joining us.

:tuttosport: i imagine he might be very motivated to join us, then warm the bench behind khedira :allegri:

You are right about the rest of the sentence but Donnarumma is already better than the Polak...
You either overrating the Polak or underrating Donnarumma which is a quite hard thing to do since everyone usually overrate him...

Donnarumma is not the best GK in the world and neither is 2nd or 3rd but neither is the Polak...
The way I see it there are levels of GK
A+ Buffon was there but isnt there anymore so this level is currently empty
A Buffon Neur Oblak Stegen De Gea cant think of others at the moment
B Donnarumma Polak Cortuios

Donnarumma is not in the league of the big ones even if he can definitely be there in the future
Polak is is in the same league of Donna but Polak will never reach A level...
Buffon was a GK that comes every 100 years (Messi of the GK) but he got old and not at his best ever state although his current best isnt bad at all...
P.S the order I wrote the names of the GK do not represent best to least best order - its random..
No, Szczesny is better. He and Buffon were the best GKs in the league last season. Szcz was the best shot-stopper, and Gigi the best overall. Donnarumma is the same as last season currently, didn't make any quantum leaps in a short period of time.

Besides, we can't even afford Gigio's salary. PSG threw 12 or 14m at him in summer.

I see Donnarumma rumors picking up again. Last year I wanted him as Gigi's replacement but after last Summer's soap opera I really think we should stay out of this. Szczęsny is currently better, more experienced and earns less - we should stick to him IMO and invest the money into midfield and preferably defense.

It was a brilliant, smart move. He's good, well-acclimatized in the league and is also spending a year with us. There'll be no van der Sar like scenario.

Not all of our keepers will be a Zoff or a Buffon. Sometimes, it'll be a Tacconi.

Sign Meret or another young GK with potential. Let them develop. Meanwhile, Szczesny will remain a good, safe pair of hands.

If for every legend that retires we will bring in a mediocre replacement we will definitely decline.

If you think Szczney is good enough then you really rate gigi as mediocre.

Sczezsny is a good goalkeeper by all means but he needs competition in order to not rest on his laurels so i’d rather believe that we will bring in a second quality keeper to fight it out for the starting spot with him from next season. My personal choice based on availability and cost would obviously be Mattia Perin, this forum is probably familiar with him even tho he had some serious injuries lately i still rate him when fit nowhere less than the Pole.

Long story short, in my view it would be ideal to take a risk on Perin(or someone on a similar level) while also keeping Sczesz and see how it pans out.

Milan fans have launched a Twitter hashtag urging Gianluigi Donnarumma to drop Mino Raiola as his agent.

The goalkeeper signed a new contract in the summer, but in recent days there have been new rumours about his future.

It’s being suggested that Raiola is unhappy with the terms of that deal, and wants to take the 18-year-old away from San Siro in the summer.

Donnarumma was whistled by sections of the Diavolo support before last night’s Coppa Italia win over Verona, with fans unveiling a banner reading 'Moral violence, €6m per year and the signing of a parasite brother? Now go, our patience is finished!’

The Italian international was visibly upset by the protests and was comforted by captain Leonardo Bonucci, and Rossoneri fans are now urging the goalkeeper to make his feelings clear.

Donnarumma hasn’t spoken about the situation, and fans want him to deny the rumours if they aren’t true.

It’s assumed that Raiola has been leaking these stories to the media, so the supporters are urging the youngster to drop his agent.

The hashtag #gigiomollalo or 'Gigio, drop him’ is circulating on social media in an effort to convince Donnarumma to get a new representative.

This is too good.

Their team is underachieving and they complain about a player who wants to abandon ship.

What do they expect though? Donnarumma to come out and say "Yea guys the power of twitter compelled me, Raiola is gone."

Ultras attack one of their starlets just because of a rumor...

I don't think he's mediocre, but from what he's shown so far in his career, he's not exactly top quality as well. If Buffon indeed wants to hang up his gloves, I'd give Woj the chance next season to make or break his career, he's a decent keeper, might turn out great and we paid too much for him to be 2nd choice, won't get it back by selling either. Ideal scenario is Gigi wants to continue for one more year.

He had a very good season but Donnarumma is on his level and 100 years younger...
Polak doesnt seem like a leader to me while Buffon surely is and Donnarumma seems to have it in his character as well

That part with Buffon is correct, the rest is pure bullshit. You're just making some ridiculous assumptions.
What makes you think Donnarumma should have in his character what Szczesny doesn't have?
What I have seen so far doesn't tell me that Donnarumma has a good character. Ofc he's young and his agent is Mino, but he seems to be an ungrateful idiot who can't stand up for himself.
Szczesny by the way seems to me a leader in his national team for example. Right @piotrr?
