Sure. That wasn't the point here anyway, but lets take other players in similar position or role that excel in that league: Matic, Fernandinho, Kante, hell, even Yaya Toure had great passing/distribution combined with his physical attributes.

Can is nowhere near that level. Not saying he is useless, just not anywhere near being a great player at the moment. Maybe Max will transform him, who knows.

Talking about underrating now you are overrating.. Coutinho is probably the most overrated player in the world! Yes he is good but the media makes him a Dybala while Dybala is clearly much better than Coutinho..
Coutinho scored a lot in CL - yeah because they played the easiest group ever - The thing is he can also play a bit behind which can be really good but in terms of player vs player Dybala is a much better player IMO

Im not saying he is bad. Just not great. Coutinho might be overrated, sure, but he is still arguably Liverpool's most important player (along with Salah this season)

Can is solid, but nothing much to write home about imo. He is better than Henderson, holly-molly, that's a damn achievement. Can surely adds depth, might (and probably will) start here, but we need someone better alongside Miralem. Great man should do his magic
