We don't need De Vrij, we never did. Even if Barzagli retires we are set. With Chiellini, Benatia, Rugani, Caldara and probably Höwedes.

Yes we do. Chiellini will turn 34 next year and he is injury prone. So is Benatia and lets also not forget that he only started playing well 6-7 games ago. Rugani has yet prove that he is starter material. Caldada looks promising but we don't know how he's going to develop.

Would you guys sell for 40m or think we can get higher? Also, personally I think it's Barzagli's time, I don't really want him to sign a new contract. Maybe hold off on De Vrij? Man, I hate losing out on freebies though, as in a year they can turn out to be serious income drivers. My theory above though with so many CB's is I think next season we will see a major decline in Chiellini similar to how Licht sorta fell off a cliff.

I don't want to lose Rugani, but Allegri doesn't seem to trust him. Mind you, I don't think Allegri is gonna be around for much longer either. I feel this is his final season, or possibly the next one.
