No matter how good (but also ineffective) Isco is, let's not add another fragile player to the collection who we have to balance out for... James is the better option for us or someone like Mkhitaryan for a doable fee.

That said; Isco would still be massive here.

As a direct choice I wouldn't either but Isco is probably twice as expensive as Mkhi and I could see the directness of Mkhi being very helpful to us. Him or Pjaca could form a deadly support to a single striker imo.
With the money we saved, we could bring in some much needed muscle then.

Nah Mkhi aint no flop anymore, he is doing well for Man U right now, so he would still cost plenty even if we bid for him. And Isco has a year left in his contract if he doesnt renew. Dont think he will cost more then 40-50mish if he is continuesly benched and has winding down contract. But I forsee him renewing with Real tho when James leaves.

We already have Pjanic whos better and both in the same formation wont work. If Pjanic wasnt here then maybe but I personally still wouldnt want him

Someone probably said the same thing about Pirlo and Kaka. They worked well on DM and AM. Max likes Pjanic in front of defence, said it multiple times. All we need is a destroyer and box-to-box in midfield and we're golden.
