Wolfsburg: 'Awaiting Draxler offers'
By Football Italia staff

Juventus, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are on high alert after Wolfsburg confirmed they’ll “listen to offers” for Julian Draxler.

The 23-year-old creative midfielder had been a transfer target for Juve when he left Schalke 04 for Wolfsburg for €36m in August 2015.

He has now been frozen out of the squad and a January exit seems inevitable.

“If there are offers, then we are willing to listen to them,” Wolfsburg director of sport Klaus Allofs told Sky Sports Deutschland.

“We acted fairly and consistently, but unfortunately the situation has taken a turn for the worse. Could he be brought back into the squad? That would be difficult.”

Juve aren’t the only contenders, as Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain have also shown interest in the Germany international.

Bayern Munich have ruled themselves out, as Carlo Ancelotti noted “we have a complete squad and he wouldn’t find space here.”
So they officially want him out. We should try to sign him. They basically have zero strenghts in the negotiations (they want him out, he wants out, they are in relegation zone and have huge chances for relegation). He would slot into our squad perfectly and he is not cup-tied. A cheeky bid of 23M+8M in bonuses could do the trick. And I honestly don't see him choosing Arsenal or PSG over us. I know that he chose Wolfsburg over us, but he said that he wasn't prepared to join us and as the things stood we would have never found an agreement with Schalke :beppe:

We aint signing Draxler. We're only getting linked because of our heavy interest in him a while back. That ship has passed a long time ago.

What i am reading regarding Kessie and Caldara is more realistic. Time to ship off the deadwood midfielders and get some fresh talent in. Its about time.

And also im tired of seeing people speculating about Verratti. That's not happening any time soon. Not as long as he's at psg.

Just found this on Bild. See a few Juventus words and Asamoah & Evra. What's Draxler on about?

I'll take him. Pjaca and him can both play. 4-2-3-1 babeyyyyy
He's a talented kid no doubt and I really wanted us to sign him a couple of seasons ago but we've moved forward. Cuadrado, Pjaca and (Berardi) is enough wingers for a team that plays without wingers. If Allegri gets the 4-2-3-1 fever I might change my opinion :)

Witsel, Kessie, Bentacur (loan him out to Atalanta), and Tielemans as midfield reinforcements. Caldara in defense. Berardi in attack, and we are set. Get rid of Hernanes, Asamoah, and Sturaro (if possible), and our 2017-2018 squad looks good.

But you know we'll never have a perfect mercato. We always have to sell someone we (the fans) don't want to sell :D

Unfortunately, you're right :sigh: Hopefully, if we do sell someone, it won't Dybala. That would officially render us lacking in ambition. Losing Vidal in 2015, Pogba in 2016, and then Dybala would be too much, just too much! Dybala and Bonucci have to stay. I think Mandzukic might want a new challenge, and he could be the sacrifice of the summer mercato. However, we can easily fund a mercato with the names I just listed, without the need for any major sacrifices. Heck, even Marotta said we didn't need to sell Pogba to fund the purchases of Higuain and Pjanic, which means we have money.

Draxler will be Dybala replacement.
