He's saying what we all know

People jizzing over our bargain zero net spend mercato's yet we've went from having a midfield that at the very least was in discussion for 'best in Europe' (AKA the World) to one that looks quite frankly $#@!.
False. I can name like 30 people here who don't know that. I can randomly choose a page on this thread and there will be at least 6 morons there who don't know it. In many people's minds, Pjanic is as good as (or even better than) Pogba.

The really sad thing is that an in-form Pjanic might actually give everyday-Pogba a run for his money, but we haven't actually seen Pjanic kicking into gear yet, he's been very mediocre so far. The reality will settle in at some point, and what Lippi said will be like you said, something "we all know", but right now it's really not.

This is the problem of the 'sell if player wants out' poĺicy. If the club judges a player to be fundamental they need to make that felt. By making the player respect his contract if needs be, give appropriate salaries, etc. This is common sense.

Otherwise we're being turned into a garage sale. The position of 'challengers' in modern football is difficult, you need to stand up or else, you're going to stagnate and risk getting stomped by the best (richer) clubs.

Watch Verratti not being sold easily, PSG has balls when it comes to this.
A) This is true.
B) We might also want to start looking into why our best players want to leave us. In cases like Pirlo and Tevez, it was natural. Vidal and Pogba? Not so much. If Dybala leaves, we start entering into joke-territory.

Haha this makes me laugh. Romelu Lukaku is still Romelu Lukaku. Do we really need a scout to see what he can do? He is already well known.
I can just imagine the scenario that makes perfect sense.

scouts: here's the VIP tickets, we're going in
random people: OH SO YOU ARE SCOUTS
scouts: yes and we came to watch how Lukaku plays
...

Yeah true when I talk about 'we' I ignore people who are so far up the clubs asshole that they think everything is perfect and our midfield is going from strength to strength.
