Rough patch yes - max needs to keep the 4312 and stop playing the cautious 352.

It's time to stop changing formations for other teams, for a change it should be the other teams that should be adjusting to play against us.
Cuadrado wasn't doing too bad as a rb, it's unfortunate that he might be restricted offensively, but I'd rather we accommodate the lack of quality through quanitity in the midfield

Cuadrado as rb, midfield of Khedira marchisio rincon and pjanic with the usual starters would do well. 4-3-1-2 needs to stick.

Will Sturaro stop failing at 5 meter passes if we change the formation? Or will we stop collapsing after scoring a goal? Or will we ever look strong at defending set pieces? The problems are of different nature

I would actually accept selling Dybala if we can get Verratti or a similar midfielder who can bring back our midfield identity.
The only way it would be acceptable for me is Verratti and James, and Real agreeing to selling Morata to us (assuming Dybala would go there). They would all cost more than Dybala alone ofcourse but that's the kind of investment id be expecting after losing 3 stars in 3 years

Sturaro looked unsatisfactory vs Milan. When we had chances he couldn't convert, when we were being pressured, his side of the field got annihilated. I'd rather we give Rincon more chances to prove himself.

I agree with that plan but I don't see it happening either.

Yeah, most people were talking about Cavani+Verratti or James+Kroos+Morata in case we lose Pogba but we got Pjanic and Higuain instead (and lost Morata too), so it most likely ain't happening. It would probably be something like Berardi, Nzonzi, Tolisso, which is OK, if Dybala stays

Buffon
Danilo-Bonucci-Rugani-A.Sandro
Marchisio
Verratti----Tolisso
Pjanić
Berardi-Higuaín

Would you be happy with this X1?

Our spending power this year is a lot bigger now. Last year we did not even invest any of our money, we just used the money from sales. We can expect something big this year.

Rincon is no starter guys. If it wasn't for afcon we would not have bough him anyway.

You think Real gives us two marquee players for Dybala while we buy Verratti same summer? I wish that was true but never gonna happen, and neither should it, don't sell Dybala under any scenario.

And he hasn't done enough for a team to go all out crazy on him either.

Yeah I mentioned they would cost more (a lot more actually). Something like - Dybala 100M, James 70-80M, Morata 50-60M, Verratti no idea, 100M u guess. I think the club is strong enough financially for such investment and if we do sell Dybala, the fans will expect and ask for something big. But hopefully Dybala stays and we don't have to find out if the club would be willing to make such huge investments to replace him
