I fail to see how Darmian and Witsel would significantly improve us. In the case of Darmian, I don't think he is an upgrade at all.

I guess it all depends on who the draw throws up. If we get Real or Bayern, the management will definitely have to add someone of significant quality in January.

Names like Rincon should definitely be avoided. We don't want to end up with another Stururu or Hernanes, players who will be incredibly difficult to dispose of later on.

Darmian is shit to average, no thanks.

And before anybody blames United for making him look bad they're better than the shit Torino teams he's played for and no matter who your team mates are if you're getting smoked at full back and doing nothing with the ball that's on you as an individual.

How does that depend on the draw ? Whether we face Benfica or Real Madrid doesn't matter... Either way we'll have to get past the best teams if we really want to win it.

Not necessarily. Madrid got Roma, Wolfsburg, and City en route to the final against ATM. However, if we get a tough opponent, our management might be more vigilant in addressing our needs. Our midfield definitely needs some work.

Still they got Atletico in the final. So it shouldn't matter one bit. If you want to win the CL, you have to be able to beat the best and therefor we need a quality injection or 2.

Has anyone really seen that Caldara kid play? He absolutely looks like a signing Juve would make. Young Italian CB from Atalanta. Wouldn't be surprised to see they paying 10M + big bonus for him and let him at least 2 years playing for Atalanta.

Very promising young CB...had a good game against us last week. I have no doubt he'll be off to us (or a Milan or Roma) next season.
