he looked very good when he broke through the youth ranks, but his progress stopped after a few years. haven't seen him in a while though. i guess a loan without obligation wouldn't hurt.
That makes more sense. I don't mind a dry loan.

Honestly, as crazy as this sounds, the Pogba and Fagioli stuff might push us quicker to do what we needed to do. Smart investments in opportunistic markets. Ruiz is an opportunity and risk that we should take imo. Lazar Samardzic at that price is an opportunity and a risk were should take imo.

No. We could sell him to an English team for double, so they'll have to pay up.
This is kind of where I stand. I'm not the biggest Iling fan because I have my doubts about his hype (turns out, if you're an average English player even fans of Italian league will hype you). Damn, I'd hate for us to sell him to the French league, him have one decent year, and get sold to Man City or Chelsea for 100m.

Just play him on the wing for one full season, let him score 8 goals and put up 8 assists and we can sell him to Arsenal for 150m or something. Goddamn it, with the way things are going, we could sell him to fucking Fulham for 100m with how much money EPL dogshit clubs make.

This is exactly it. Any half decent season will skyrocket his price, no way in hell do these clubs follow the Italian league.

Of course, we'd need the tactical setup for it though and well....

:sigh: Oh well. He does score a goal every 7 games and and has a decent engine, but he's such a meh player turning 30 in May.

There's really no upside to a deal like that - no resale value, the player has already matured and won't improve, and most importantly, I don't think he'd significantly improve us, if at all.
