The only conceivable reason I can think of for Allegri still to be here is that he requested an overhaul in the summer but was overruled by Arrivabene as he wanted to keep the purse strings tight…

He likely would have told the club that the players at his disposal lack charachter, heart and quality and above all they are technically awful footballers who lack intelligence. He must have told them that, and surely the only reason he is still here is because they shot him down and have now realised they are wrong.

That’s what I’m choosing to believe anyway. Because if that isn’t the case then the other option is that everyone in power in this club is utterly retarded

We made 6 new signings in the summer and bought two new players in January. More than half of the starting eleven has already been 'overhauled'.

Put any of these players in a team that's not a toxic, anti-football environment that Allegri and the management have created over the past 18 months and you'd instantly see better performances from those group of players.

Our own Kulusevski is a very good example.

The only thing that needs an overhaul is Allegri's brain. Better yet, I hope he retires from the sport entirely.

2 of them have been injured for nearly all of the first games. 1 was a direct replacement for our best CB, 1 was meant to be a vice Vlahovic, 1 was a PSG reject and Kostic.

we spent less than we earned.

we also lost Morata, Dybala, Chiellini, Berna & Zak. People can try to convince themselves our Mercato made the team stronger but these people also believe that unicorns are real.

this squad today is far worse than the squad we had in Feb

...Our own Kulusevski is a very good example...
so are arthur, zakaria, ramsey or pellegrini.

oh wait

something's obviously very wrong at juventus, but not everyone who leaves juventus suddenly turns into a world class player. kulu is the only example to support that narrative to an extent (and he's been benched lately, he only played 1 full 90 minute match in the league). the others didn't really improve. dybala is the same player, sometimes effective, sometimes injured. de ligt is equally error prone, a much better team already lost points because of him. ramsey is maybe a bit less often injured. zak is having a much worse season, arthur didn't change at all. pellegrini can't find consistency the same way he couldn't do it at juve.

The same Dybala's and Berna's who people wanted offloaded asap lol? Let me guess, Allegro wanted to get rid of them for lacking 'grinta and character' I suppose?

I gave an example of how some of our players namely your Marchisio's and your Bonucci's lacked 'character' under Del Neri too until a real coach took over. We used to sign rejects and flops during those times too.

It's not a well built squad by any means but more than that, this is a poorly coached team. Forget the shit football, this week after week humiliation at the hands of garbage teams is not normal. This anti-football coach is making us look worse than we actually are.

Dude Marchisio played surrounded with Melo and Aquilani, the other option being Sissoko. Huge difference to the following year with Vidal and Pirlo. Ofcourse a coach and structure is also important for a young player, but the level of his teammates is just as important. Bonucci was in his first season at a top club and he wasn't anything special the following year either. Or the year after that. Or the year after that. It's not like he magically turned WC in 2011.

Yes Allegri has done a poor job with this team, let's put aside the circumstances like missing key players, unfortunate results or Var decisions, the team doesn't look like it has a "head and a tail", it's a mess. If he can't atleast fix the defensive side in a lack of offense, then I'm afraid he was passed by time. We leak way too many "easy" goals and our lackluster offense can't even it out.

Having said that, I wouldn't expect Juventus 2011 level renaissance with Rabiot, McKennie, Alex Sandro, Bonucci, Szczesny etc. as either starters or heavily used rotation players. This seasons teams success will depend on having Chiesa, Di Maria, Pogba healthy and kicking. Without them you depend on out of form Cuads and a closed down Kostic bombing in crosses to our two CFs. And that will always be ugly ineffective football.

bremer

are all starters for their national teams. yet somehow they play great there, but here they can't beat the haifa or the monza?

no, i am done with the allegri defenders gaslighting others into thinking it's the players. it's the coach. it's always the coach

Burger is not a key-player? That piece of shit plays in every game, for Allegri (and Andy) he is a key-player (that's how blind he is).

Of course you would see better performances from these players in a better coached and more harmonious team.

Doesn't mean the squad doesn't need an overhaul. Most of our players, at least the ones available, do not get into top teams in Europe or even Serie A.

I just dont get this. Not complaining about selling him, but if we want to sell him, then why he starts every match over Miretti and Fagioli ffs.

I think he only starts because Allegri is fixated on various versions of a 4-4-2 and the only realistic option on the right is him and Cuadrado. It was the same last season with Rabiot on the left, we didn't really have many options on LM.

We'd need to sign someone for the RM/RW if we sell him and are determined to play this system. But we should be doing that anyway.

First pic 5 players that are out of the project for next season. McKennie & Locatelli risking in January already. Alex Sandro, Cuadrado & Rabiot for the summer. Pic below the predicted lineup from Gazzetta vs Torino.
These 5 players are starting.

Tell me how you want to get out of this situation like this...

Ps: Obviously we don't know with certainty if the reports are true and also don't know if the predicted lineup is correct
