agreed. that's why i don't get the recurring "just get any other coach, will be better anyway" idea. the revamp also requires a proper squad, which requires a sports director, so it's a bit more complicated than replacing one coach with an other.
I have been teaching this for ages while most toasters were fangirling for Max or Arrivabene or some specific player when it's clear that one good ingredient doesn't make a shit soup taste nice.

Team is shit
Couch is shit
Management is shit
Owners are shit
Fans are shit

which leads to

Results are shit
Finances are shit
Club image is shit
Future outlook grim

JJ is beyond redemption in the current state, and due to EPL pressure even if JJ doesn't set a foot wrong in the next 5 years it will only ever be at Everton level financially

Best thing is to sell to some Sheikhs and then watch them build something entirely new from the ashes

It definitely starts with him, but no it won't be an easy fix. We have lost our identity in our failed quest to go global. So our next hire would need to reimplement our lost identity and put in place a clear modern vision of football. A tall order.
It takes one competent person to bring change to the club. Klopp changed Pool's club culture. The way they play, the players they recruited, these were all aligned with Klopp's vision.
Whether it's a sporting director, club president or coach, we need that one influential figurehead at the club.

yet you shit on our last competent director (marotta) on every possible occasion ser

btw sheiks aren't the solution, that's not sustainable and wouldn't benefit serie a. look at how the league reacted when ronaldo was bought, they simply can't sell the broadcasting rights. italy has its own problems unrelated to ownership. without new stadiums (which cost chips on the long run compared to the budget of a club) no one would go watch matches, no one will be able to afford new players, no one would watch serie a. and while it would be truly terrible if something would happen to ceferin, the ufea governing body could use a reform. the super league must be established if the current uefa redistribution system stays in place, because that doesn't encourage sensible reinvestments, just pedal to the board reckless spending sprees. football has much bigger issues than jj shitting on their own roots

The Serie A is a marketing disaster. How many times did we get disappointed by underwhelming tv deals who improved next to nothing over the course of the last decade.

If we just look to our club everyone knows the right answer. Buy players who’s value should increase with time, be harder with negotiations, pay less salary to deadwood. Sadly though it takes years to clean up the mess we created.

Im very cautious with foreign investors. Many clubs didn’t improve or got even worse in some cases. Milan and Inter lost years and years.

I think he's that promising and could be that good. And has shown flashes of it already. And his cost is probably still lower than even somebody like Udogie. He would probably need time and wouldn't be a finished product but a year of playing with the team, learning and growing, he has all the tools to be a very good FB.

That's the thing with current Juventus. Buying the finished product is extremely expensive. Even remotely close to the finished product is getying expensive. The more the EPL keeps buying up young players NEARLY ready, the higher the cost goes. And that means either developing the talent yourself (hard to do for every position for each cycle) or going further down the "ready" pyramid. Buying a player slightly less ready but willing to take that cost of developing for the last 1-2 years of their time to use them.

And even then, once you develop them to be truly "ready" or good you might be fighting off EPL buyers who are hording all the ready players who are young. I

Who is leaving, because there is no space for that guy? I can`t see the McChicken moving too.... he thinks is more than Aston Villa player (for me he is relegation team material tho)....

Juventus will meet with Ivan Fresneda's entourage in the coming hours. @MatteMoretto

Juventus: today there was a meeting between the agent/mom of Rabiot and the bianconero management. The parties are trying to see if the right conditions for an agreement could be found which, to date, seems quite complicated.
