I think Ramsey is becoming an immovable object so Bentancur will leave despite that 35% clause.
Even if Ramsey is immovable, the one to be pushed out is definitely Arthur - even on loan.

Selling Bentancur for friggin Nandez makes so little sense to me. It doesn't bring any cash and we commit to buy another so-so player? Meh.

Looks like inter are close to signing Goosens on loan with a 25m option. Dan that would have been a good deal for us. Our left side is a pig sty
Suits Inter more as he’s more of a wingback. It sucks though, they will also get Scamacca and Frattessi in the summer. It’s tough seeing Beppe with merda.

Agreed. Bentancur is one of the lowest paid on the team, so when he was linked to Villa I thought we’re so poor that we need to sell. Obviously that’s not the case, so I wonder if it’s because he wanted to leave or something else.

Lowest paid but greatest plusvalenza.

Remember, we aren't completely removed from needing plusvalenza to fund ourselves at this point.

For sure we need some sales now to offset the Vlahovic deal which is fucking expensive.

IMO there's no way the player wants to leave and I'm not even sure Allegri would want to let him go. He's a soldier that knows his place, these three are the problem: Ramsey, Arthur and Rabiot. In this order IMO, simply because Rabiot gets to play more than the others.

It’s selling Bentancur and loaning Nandez
loan + option which is probably an obligation I'd assume. Cagliari surely won't give him to us for free.

I'm not against Nandez himself, he's a decent player who is perfect for a rotation b2b in 3 man midfield IMO. I'm just not sure he's what we need considering the fact we have McKennie already. Both look better on the right side too.

I'd like to have someone who assists and scores for B2B or a regista/DM that's cold as ice when under pressure. Surely you don't buy these in January, not after the Vlahovic deal but you get my point I guess.

Total agreement but Ramsey/Rabiot get paid the same.

Nandez better centrally and closer to the defense, unlocks Locatelli and protected behind Mckennie. Think Diamond three midfield with Locatelli/McKennie higher up and more side-by-side with Nandez dropping back closer to the CBs.

I think some of the thought might be that Locatelli gets unlocked with this type of a midfielder and can provied more of that needed creativity midfield.

Out of Ramsey, Arthur, Rabiot and Bentancur, Rodrigo is by far the easiest to sell. The others are basically immovable due to high wages and/or high book value. Perhaps we just need to make a small plusvalenza to cover some of the costs of that Vlahovic deal? Nandez would most likely be signed on some deferred payment sorta deal anyways so wouldn't affect our finances in the short term. I agree that it doesn't make much sense sporting wise.

Nandez doesn't play in front of defense, he's a poor mans Barella.

He's an all-action mid, classic b2b to me. Locatelli would have to remain the DM with McKennie and Nandez next to him:
McKennie - Loca - Nandez.

I’m not so keen on Nandez either but the rumours said selling Bentancur and loan + option for Nandez

If that’s really the case I’d go ahead.
