Are Zakaria and Bruno G able to pass the ball well?

Neither look particularly good passers even in youtube compilations. Our midfield is a mess but we have too many one dimensional mids who can't pass (Arthur: good at close control, not much else / Bentancur: good defensively, not much else / Rabiot: strong runner when he can be bothered, not much else). We badly need to get our next signings right and can't afford to sign more mids who aren't rounded. Ideally we need one who can pass to take the pressure off Locatelli and free him up.

Ya I'm not sure either is the answer. Zakaria does not inspire much confidence with the ball at his feet.

I don't like all this hype over Zakaria because I've not seen enough to suggest that he can solve our biggest problem which is the lack of goals. His impact would be minimal. We need a winger or support striker more.

I don’t think we want Zacaria to score goals… in fact I don’t think that we want a midfielder who can score goals.

To score goals we want a striker, but that’s apart of the midfield situation.

Last time I saw Zakaria he was playing as a CM next to that other dude Kaudio Kone or whatever. Consequently they ended up losing 6-0 at home to Freiburg of all sides.

Zakaria I'd like best as either the defensive part next to a playmaking mid in a 4231, or as a Matuidi kinda guy in a 433.

Wouldn't want him in the Arthur role in front of the defense.
I don't know, Zakaria seems like a pure DM signing to me. Don't think he would excel at the Matuidi role.

the best option is still brozovic on a free. we should do everythinig possible to sign him.

brozovic and kessie on free, plus getting rid of ramsey wages and arthur would be a good start to summer market.

Brozovic and Kessie would cost almost the same if not more in wages compared to Arthur, Rabiot and Ramsey.

Plus Brozovic is nearing 30.

Kessie is so overrated, and for the wages he is demanding, he can fuck off to the EPL.

Bozobitch is an Inter Merda legend, so there's no way he's coming here - for the wages he'd command and considering his age, we should pass anyway.

Rovella, Locatelli and McNuggets is our starting point. We need another mid in there, a quality one.

I feel Raocchia, Miretti and Fagioli need more experience/time in another Serie A club before we can ascertain whether they're ready for us or whether we're going to use them as trade pawns.

What is certain is that we need to gradually phase out Fagiot, Arturd, Bentapoor and Glassmsey. They should all be out of here come summer 2023.

rovella is another nobody who won't make it here. if he was good, they would have never let him go on a loan.

even bumfuck kulu made it to first team and he sucks. rovella must really suck

age isn't important.
of course it is. brozovic on a 5 year contract would be a terrible deal. imagine any 35 year old player other than modric who's not gonna be terrible in the middle of the pitch.

give him 3 years and we're talking. he's a guarantee and would fit juve perfectly. we've been playing with a regista since a decade and now we don't have any natural players for that position.

btw i rate kessié, but certainly not at 8m net. only pl clubs or psg will be able to afford it. i already read something like psg will try to convince mbappe by bringing kessié and pogba. with their wage structure, both would be good fits.

you just said that age isn't important, but of course it is. you don't give long contracts to old players, but players prefer long contracts. performance is expected to drop too with an older player. so it matters a lot.
