Mourinho's failings has more to do with the fact that his tactics are outdated. Conte has been honest about the level of his squads, and it never worked badly for him. He is a serial winner. I expect honesty from a coach, and it doesn't have to be conveyed through attacks on individuals in the press. This goes beyond interviews, it is reflective in his starting lineups and his activity in the transfer windows. They are all garbage, with the exception of Locatelli and McNuggets.

I'd deploy a 4-2-3-1 formation when everyone is fit, thereby bypassing the weak link, our midfield.

A 4-2-3-1 with Mcnuggets and Loca in a double pivot, Chiesa and Cuads flanking Morata/Kean and Dybala (when fit) or Kaio behind the lone striker.
