On likely departures this summer this is what I've come up with (optimistically):

OUT
MDS - 0
Arthur - 0 (loan)
Ramsey - 0
McKennie - 30
Morata - 0
Total - 30

Sadly the Demiral money (28M) will go right into paying for Kean (28M).

If all of the above players leave that means we will need: 1 CB, 2 CMs, 1 CF

Possible signings?
CB: some 5th choice rando or a youth with potential ~15
CM: Rovella + a more proven mid. If we are lucky enough to get rid of Rabiot, maybe Fagioli or Ranocchia will return ~40
CF: Vlahovic ~70
Total - 125

Can we do a mercato of -95 net spend? I doubt. Maybe we will go for a cheaper CF like Scamacca or not spend on a CM at all. Or perhaps promote a youth player or bring back Dragusin for CB.

Better hope we get some of that capital injection for signings or this summer is going to blow hard.
I would try to keep MDS, Demiral, De Ligt, and Mckennie

Reinforce midfield with Fagioli, Rovella and Kessie on a Bosman

Spend the transfer budget on Vlahovic and someone to replace Alex Sandro

I do not think we have a chance to get Vlahovic, way to expensive The price is not 70 but 80 ( Fiore asking price) and we will not get brake.
Rakib's idea is great I consider Darvin Nunez on Vlahovic level and will cost less ( around 50), because he plays in Portugal and for that reason only less known.
With a good mid Tchouameni (40 or 50)or De Jong ( for 25 if through or even 40)with Rovella coming back and selling Arthur, Ramsey both for free, just to get rid of their salary
Selling Mc Kennie and Kulu , both are in demand , say 70 mil for the 2. We will spend only 20 to 30 mil.
But we better try now , at least for De Jong ( In Spain they are talking that Barca may give him on loan to Sevilla) and Nunez ( cause we need absolutely a number 9)

Its a bit different, it’s better to look what players cost per year and what we will sell/end of contract

Douglas Costa still costs 10m and will be gone, same for De Sciglio 8m, Perin 8m, possibly Ramsey 9m, etc.

And there’s Mandragora who has to be bought by Torino since it’s an obligation. Rugani goes into his last year so maybe we want to cash in on him.

This is the last year that we’ll have a lot of deadwood, selling Arthur should be a priority since he costs a lot even when he’s away on loan.

Its interesting to loan Ramsey since his amortization is low, Arthur without his loan would still cost 15m per year. Maybe it’s better to at least try to get the best out of fine since there’s only a small advantage, and we shouldn’t forget that without remaining two consecutive years in Italy, the tax advantage doesn’t apply to him. Same for Morata if he leaves now, meaning we have to pay more taxes of their salary earned in 20/21 aswel.

selling on top player to get 2-3 top players reinforces the team
i would sell deligt for 100-120m to get Vlahovic + Pau Torres for example. If money was an issue.
MDL future is kind of in his hands as if he wants to stay he will definitely stay and if he wants to go - He`ll leave when a big offer arrives (I guess about 85M should do it despite the clause)

While I want him to remain - selling him could turn into a blessing as it all depends on what we do with his money but the potential to bring top players for his money is definitely there.

If we sell De Ligh by any price bigger than 50mill. Scama, boriello, luca toni... Will suddenly become 60mill for us. Once other clubs knows we have money, they will rob us.
