So we buy him just so we can ship him out again? How much money will that Morata adventure, including the expensive loans, cost us at the end of the day?

Probably we get 5m compensation from Baca/Atletico since we paid 10m for a full season and we’ll save the rest of his wages, what should be 5m net for this full season

So overall we’ll save ~8m I think. But his total value (10m loan + ~7m gross wages) would be the biggest difference in the books.

I would only give him to Barca if Barca pay some fee that we paid to Atleti. And it worth it and help us get replacement like Scamacca

Otherwise, i would keep Morata until end of the season. All the name mentioned like Icardi, Milik are downgrade from Morata. We should also think on team perspective getting player in mid season

Scamacca is the most realistic and checks the most boxes. Fits the timeline age wise, and is the prototype 9 for Allegri. Just get it done.

btw how would a Morata deal even work? Technically he’s not a Juve player, so why would we get compensation instead of ATM?

We paid 10m for a full season not a half season so I reckon that we get 5m back and that Barca will pay 5m to Atletico

Scammacca - Tough to bet on someone who doesnt even has one season full of goals under his belt. I think we should skip unless its a really low cost (and its not)
Dembele - It would be stupid on our part as he will mostly be injured and he is also a troublemaker.
Depay - Not a bad idea as he can also come from the left - The problem is he is not a freebie anymore and for cost+wages we might have better options out there..
