Their way of doing business is insane. Can’t understand that La Liga doesn’t put a hold to it.

Hope he miserably fails
La liga dont allow them to register players unless they sell.

They couldn't re sign messi, or register new signings until Griezmann was sold (one of them was Aguero, who played 2 games then retired). And they have to sell handful of big contract squad players to be able to register Ferran Torres.

But yeah even if la liga puts some limit to the insanity, fact of matter is state banks write off or prolong their debt/loans to infinite years to help out both Barca and Real Madrid. They like wall street mega entities. Too big to fail so state bails them out.

Even mirko nicolino said the same thing he only wants Juve maybe a childhood dream.
even if this specific report is fake, I believe he has some sort of agreement with juve.

btw I think it’s funny that fiorentina can ask for 70m for him while juve evidently arent in the position to ask for more than 45 for De Ligt, who has an extra year on his contract. Just LOL.

It makes total sense for Vlahovic to wait for Juve (if we make CL, not to convince him, but to afford the investment). Tell me another big club in desperate need for a young top striker to save them? There aren't. Its really just us.

And especially more so when Vlahovic is more interested to stay in Italy, where he established himself.

So its paramount, if he isnt sold this January window, we dont sign another half measure striker this window, but only do loan deal and wait to invest in Vlahovic in summer.

P.S our biggiest treat is Man City this window, if that doesn't happen just be mainly us as most likely for summer.

Would he want to go to a club that needs saving though? Or is he likely to go to a club that is already competing at the highest level? This 'wanting a challenge' theory is all well and good, but a 21 year would want probably want to take his career to the next club. Not take a gamble at a club that is struggling. I would love to be proven wrong and for him to end up at Juve, but there are more reasons for him to want another team than there are for him to pick Juve. The only one that might favour Juve is familiarity with the league and not going to a different league and having your career go downhill Jovetic style.

Plus there's the financial element. There are many clubs who can offer him much higher wages than Juve. I doubt we can match that even if the De Light money is freed up.

Again, fingers crossed. He would be one hell of a coup if we can sign up but i'm not confident that we can.

I have no doubt he will want to come to Juve, he would become the main name of a big Italian club, and get big salary. Him and his agent has given enough indication its an option that entices them.

My main concern is can we afford the deal, and even if we can, will Fiorentina accept it? Commisso is ever more obsessive about professing his anti Juveness.

Similar speculation about Haaland last year iirc

Haaland has no ties to Italy and has self professed love to English league, and was quickly a superstar name that became too big to entice, every single huge club will make it their mission to sign him. Vlahovic is nowhere near that stature and allure even if hes been super prolific this past year.

The best reason for Vlahovic might be joining Juve is he seems to have similar careful decision making of Haaland when it comes to his next club. He could easily taken the big shiny step up abroad past summer and the big payday (seemed to declined Atletico, Spurs and maybe City too), but like Haaland seems to wait only for the right club that would build around him.

Getting Acerbi for Rugani would be a top move tbh.
Both are going on loan+option would be good for both teams.
Juve got Acerbi who already know each other with Bonucci and Chiellini in national team for 6 months
Lazio got Rugani who Sarri already know and can adapt faster. Rugani also got opportunity to get back his career.

Pogba is more unrealistic than Vlahovic because with Vlahovic it’s strictly a question of whether we can afford his transfer fee. With Pogba his age doesn’t fit the clubs timeline. His wages are wild too.

How the heck did we miss that Halland deal from Salzburg for $20m. :sergio:

Imagine him playing infront of Rabiot and Benta. Painful, yet satisfying.
How did basically every club in football but Dortmund miss it? I mean, it sucks we couldn’t see the future and get him early, but nor did anyone else. The same could be said of so many youngsters who show some flashes of big potential, then get purchased by a club like Dortmund or Atletico or whoever else with a great scouting department, explore there and end up being worth insane amounts.

Halland was already hot property when Dortmund got him if I remember correctly. Obviously not as lethal as he has become now, but his numbers for Salzburg had him on the radar of more than one big team. Dortmund just reacted quicker than the rest.

They weren't quicker. They got chosen and rightfully so if we judge the result.
